Goes to show that I don`t play RT :P

I wouldn`t call it flooded exactly, but there have been them fairly consistantly.

the server been flooded with minerals for about a month lol

We`ll it`s your fault for letting it get to that point now isn`t it. It`s because of hoarders like you that RT allegedly never has minerals on the market.

I`d like to see how high minerals would actually go on RT if the price caps were raised from 1000 to 10,000 or even 100,000 for about a week and the max time minerals could stay on the market increased to 96 hours instead.

Something tells me the server would flood with minerals =P

Ragnar, what about if you have 2 bil of a mineral and can post 9 999 999 at once? It is not the same AT ALL.

of course you can. You can make 2 posts of 999,999,999 and it would accomplish the exact same thing with fewer server headaches

It`s unfair if someone post a huge chunk of raw materials acting as barrier to block your goods from being sold.

In fact, the post mentioned in the original post could easily have been a cell phone mishap involving some hapless account accidentally (or intentionally once finding this out by accident on a cell phone browser and thinking it`s ok to do it since the browser lets you) putting in more than 9 digits in the sell portion.

There is no point in posting above the market limits since you can just as easily do 2 posts as you can do a single post. The reason it`s not allowed is because it causes problems with the server and the game code somehow.

If you play on a cell phone, I suggest you be VERY careful when using the market as the usual limits when playing the game are not implemented on a cell phone browser. I realize people can use this info to cheat, but at the same time if you play on the cell phone you would have discovered this sooner or later. As such, it is Stephen`s responsibility to fix an obvious bug and staff`s responsibility to give players a warning instead of just slapping the suspend button. It is the player`s responsibility to be aware of this and be cautious of this (it`s too easy to input ten "9s") so as to prevent unfortunate incidents of staff suspending first and asking questions later.

Islander, u lie. I had only 100bil food one time a few months ago.

Islander how could you be punished for buying food or mins over limit like 20 mil mins at 1000 , if your in need of mins or food .........

yea its not hard to post i use to do it on UC all the time, but for gc its not really allowed to post it like that

I know you get in trouble for posting over the limit, but do I get in trouble for buying it?

makes me wonder how it`s done, not that I feel tempted in any way to post above the limits, especially since I`m mainly just buying food in RT, in the TB servers I`m too new to have enough of anything be able to post anything above the limits :P

i dont know why you would want to post stuff in that big of bunches....but seems to be a common practice...i see stacks above max alot..:(
