buildrate again - what a joke!

I can assure you that no admin has worked hand in hand with CC at all. Thanks to badwolf becoming staff CC has only lost one of our best fighters. He no longer participates in any events because it would not be fair. He has dedicated himself to being staff and is hardly able to contribute to the fed at all. We do not gain anything from having staff in our fed; we have lost him and other valuable members that are staff. Some of our members, though I am not proud of, have begged badwolf to share information about events to give them an edge and he has refused to share anything of value whatsoever. Everyone thinks that having staff in your fed is a major help, but really it hurts the fed a lot. CC has become weaker since we have had members become staff. They can't be a fully contributing federation member and be a morally upright staff member; for the most part they must choose one or the other. Several of our members have chosen to be staff over being a fed member. I would have kicked them long ago for lack of fed contribution, but I just like them too dang much. It is not fair for anyone to accuse them of cheating just because they happen to be a member of certain fed. They have worked hard and contributed a hell of a lot to GC, they have given up a great deal to try and help GC and keep the game alive and the thanks they get is being accused of cheating just for being associated with a federation that you don't like.

I understand why you all feel the way you do, it`s understandable. It`s the reason why most staff in the past had to no longer associate with competitive feds and so forth, because of the accusations and assumptions that follow. This event had nothing to do with anyone except for Stephen I can assure you. Neither CC nor staff had any influence at all. I wish you would all reconsider and cut the staff some slack once in a while.

I can`t go around punishing people for doing nothing wrong mate. although i`ve been yelled at by players already for doing just that. Imagine if you bought something for free randomly on the market, then had it all ripped away from you by a staff member. you`d be upset.

What you say is right ArchAngel. We all have the same buildrate. BUT this is not about the buildrate itself, but about the timing when this 4x event has kicked in both times. Each time we had just taken the ranks from CC, which of course is expensive. One would expect that CC has to use a similar amount of money and time if they want to take it back, but this is not the case when the buildrate is so fast. And they end up building 500 mil PR for the same amount of money that we used to build 200 mil PR.

Ewpleasedont was a 7 days old guard, who suddenly got 143 bil out of nowhere and becomes allie to CC in fighting MK. Lol. Islander is his fedmate. I talked with raistilin about the transfer, as I think the most fair thing will be to reverse it, but he says there is nothing he can do about it, as the rules does not make this illegal. Maybe I should just start giving away 100 mil of minerals everyday, then maybe someone will realize this is a joke too, and that rules needs to be changed.

In the end, all I want is a fair fight between the two feds. And ya maybe your definition of fair is different, I don't know.

somewhat agree with Loof and i dont like these events esp those past events. but as pointed out Stephen is controlling it now, i think its all fair and we should be thankful somehow for Stephen got time with us.

It is all about timing. Sorry for sounding a bit anti-everything, but somehow it seems that these events are always favouring a certain fed on a certain server , whoever makes them - stephen, bw, maraudian etc.

Like we have seen 4x build rates making those people able to build a super fleet and hit an npc and get 100-150k c3 a NUMBER of times.

Be thankful dudes....

This buildrate works both way. Attacker can climb fast to hit, defender would be able to climb equally fast to hit attacker down too..

I dont really know if I should laugh or cry. Its great that Stephen shows some interest in GC, but there are sooooo many other things that would help much more, instead of activating random events that incidently screwed up a well planned UW for a lot of people.

Thanks for caring Stephen, but please announce when these events actually take place in advance!

Yes, be glad it`s build rate and not "everyone gets 40 btc, 50 regalos, and 15 pcc" day. It took years for all those artifacts to drain out of the system and even then there might be a few left. =/

Wow, Stephen does something at random for the game and you blame it on the admin and or staff players. That is rich. Don`t blame the staff. If you truly have a problem with what Stephen is doing then email him personally. Then he can see or maybe correct the situations.

let`s all hail CC for having very little skills in this game but being excellent at cheating and getting unfair admin granted advantages. You all rock at botting and timing "EVENTS" great, i can at least take comfort in the rest of us probably beating you at life:P

Lulz, as stephen said in the other thread, just after he fixed the issue, he was ill, you can`t blame him for that.

You`ll have to bug stephen about these things mate, no one else but him knows.
