buildrate again - what a joke!

At any rate, you guys are all a great group of people, I dunno whats got you all bummed out...i mean the TB servers seem pretty chillaxed atm. Rt drama, should be turned into a soap opera.

Well I guess i`m done now, i`m going to get snuggle up to my GF who`s been patiently waiting for me in bed for the past 4 hours. So i`ll catch you guys on the flipside or what not

I don`t like hypocrites who say they care about the game and like it but because of it`s current state feel they should leave...because if they honestly care about the game they wouldn`t leave because every person gone only makes the situation more dire...(i know i`m a hypocrite in writing this paragraph..don`t like it, don`t read it, I don`t pretend to be better than any one else) but back to the main topic of this paragraph...don`t stick around, just leave, we don`t need you and your negativity is just dragging the rest of what`s left of the fragile moral of this game down. We need creative idea`s and solutions not selfish bickering. I didn`t get the bloody dollie I wanted for Christmas either but didn`t write santa a nasty letter, I just try to keep a better attitude and hope that next year i`ll get that dollie.


If any one feels that I have targeted them in any way or that I am in fact singling them out with any part of my posts then good I hope you do feel that way (though it wasn`t my intent since I hate and love all of you equally in equal amounts at all times), good for you, I didn`t force you to read it, you did so of your own free will so good for you, just as I read everything you`ve posted up til now of my own free will.

You have a few options, either report me for uncouth behavior, or what ever you wish. you can reply in this thread to me, I will read it, and probably not respond. You can pm me or email me, or even chat with me on msn and i`ll respond or not depending on how i`m feeling at the time. You ignore it all together. You can eat a few oreo`s and kick back and relax and laugh at this whole thread as i`ve done and continue to do. Hmm what else....umm you can call shenanigans put on a little web play for all of us showing us some interesting facet of your life.

all you`re doing is hoarding, so that you can keep your name off a list or to stock up on more liquid assess so you can have over max cash....because you fail at spending the cash you already have or for some reason you hate to use turns at 1 tril -1 credits watching those turns worth of income become futile...such greed. I have no idea what that idea has to do with anything...but i`m ranting.

Then there`s people whining about botting and pting, then there are those cross accusing those of botting and pting...and still yet there are those cross accusing the cross accusers of botting and pting. Either you`re just as guilty as everyone else for botting pting, or breaking some rule of some sort. Or you should be able to take solace in the fact that you don`t have to resort to such lows as cheating in order to play the game....it`s almost like your on a higher level because your angelic pure heart rises above the scorn and sorrows of others. Then I suppose there are those repentant individuals who`ve learned the errors of their ways, or wanted to repent for their transgressions and never perform those evil deeds again, those people shouldn`t judge those who do as if they`re any better..

I`m not saying to just ignore abuse when you see it, just report it instead of throwing it on the public forums, especially with no more proof of such wrong doing than hunches or disdain for another player.

What I have to say next is my very personal opinion and what I`m about to say will prove what a bad staff member I really am, but i`m going to say it any way.

Any one threatening to quit for some reason, or threatening to quit in trying to show the severity of your cause please just do so, If you honestly think leaving this game will in any way change the current status of this game, or if your one of those who want to leave this game with the messed up logic that this game getting worse then I urge you to quit.

Lol it`s sad people having nothing better to do all day but moan and groan about the past present and future of a game. Sure these events aren`t fair, but when are they ever fair for anyone...there`s always one group out there that these events are completely useless for....i`m sure there`s a lot of struggling new empires out there striving to make money so they can actually utilize this event and here you multi-billionaires are gripping about it....any one with near max infra or over 200 planets has no real reason to complaint about it.

You can use it to your advantage you, contact your friends on GC and say hey, lets build up today in the ranks, they say why, you say there`s this build rate increase thingy....they say ok. And then you can all build up, simple as that. those already in the ranks usually have the disadvantage when these events start due to the fact that they`re probably poor, because they`ve either spent a lot of money building a decent stack up to protect themselves, or they were poor to being with and they`re spamming which automatically puts them at a disadvantage because they either spam more cheap useless junk or the disband to try and make money or to rebuild with the cash they have.

Then there`s the people in this thread complaining about people complaining, don`t complain back, say your piece get it over with and drop it, no use fanning the flames all you end up doing is waste time you could be using proving your point on the battlefield. Look right now...for instance your reading this bloody thread, why? Your wasting time out of your life.

Hmm what else was there, market transfers....hmm we could ban all those who sell anything -2% under the current lowest price, I think that`s a great Idea personally. Ends a lot of strife then again on the same token I think any empire that buys more than 20 mil in any mineral regardless of race that already had over 2 mil of that mineral should have to pay so kind of price as well.

so what there is a 4x build rate or a 2x build rate...i can`t use them right now. so everyone who`s built a ship since the +300% one how ever long ago is abusing that event to me, but hey i`m not going to complain beyond all the complaints about stuff...

since when has Stephen even remotely cared about fairness on this game? haven`t seen a shred of it. further more if we want to talk about members of the staff planning using this event to their own personal advantage that`s pretty ridiculous, First of all...BW would have known about it or any member in CC, i would have known about it and if i would have known about it i`d be sitting on a pure stack of aries pwning the server with it, not sitting here on some last ditch effort Elohim forsaken unplanned fleet which i barely had the credits for.

if we want to go into past events i don`t recall CC winning one, actually I distinctly remember many enemies of the "admins fed" winning clusters from the system. sure some of CC did befit from it but that`s other peoples faults for not being able to hold on to their clusters...it`s also the fault of people not plundering clusters instead letting their seed run amok the galaxy like some harlet. you don`t want people getting clusters, plunder everyone in sight, or sabotage, like i started with that bloody event where Maraudian was handing out 1 land c3`s ruining someone else fun it`s....fun.

further more if we want to talk about staff giving out unfair planets or rigged events, how about that 250k c3 i got...for doing nothing more than winning a popularity contest, after i specifically asked to be excluded from it. why not use me as an example...i am staff after all, and omg i have ties with CC too! thats two marks of the beast! Oh noes.

Jammer, but the amount of upkeep incurred while building up is less because you end up spending fewer turns to get to the high prs.

I have mixed feelings on the topic... Am I glad Stephen is poking around the attic again? yes definitely... That being said of course, I really do wish he`d use a broom to sweep the dust off instead of a baseball bat. :-/

I`ve got one last thing to put out there...

even if the build rate was +1,000%, the fleets would still cost the same, in terms of upkeep, at least.

I spent a good 35bil or so building up last night, with nothing to show for it.

I had fun, but whatever.

Oh, and this: I don`t care who`s got 500 planets at 3 days old or whatever, kudos to you, congrats for it, I don`t care if it was pt or whatever.

It`s already been looked into, from what I hear, and there wasn`t anything shady going on that I know of.

Small empires unable to build fast enough, or lack overall resources for a long build up .. they get a chance to take what you have. The flip side...you get to hammer them on a Retal.

If you suspect someone of cheating, report it. don`t sit back saying ` oh we all know it but yeah... ` I call Bs and shenanigans on you. If you see something then report it. I`m not omnipotent, I`m not even the Kwisatz haderach ( dune reference ) . And i don`t have the time to spend 5+ hours a day skulking and hunting down people. so you want to complain about cheating, thats fine. but atleast do due diligence and post up a Hc thread so mods and admins can take a look.

But your whole fed`s ideology is wrong, everybody is just playing to save BW. If he is away or not telling others what to do, it will be complete chaos.

Trust me the admins looked into all accusations of cheating and any evidence found was held against the players. I never said that none of us have cheated, many of my members have cheated and we have been investigated more than anyone else for cheating, we have been punished many times for cheating. The staff has not favored CC in any event or looked the other way when we have cheated. We have been treated like everyone else, maybe even worse than everyone else in some instances but you don`t here us b!thing and moaning, we play with what we have and do what we can, I suggest you do the same. I can`t fight at all personally, I don`t know how, I don`t have the skill, wish i did so I could come take you down.

Lol @ HB. It is not about THIS event. It is about 99% of the past events that one way or the other go CC way. Ok, look at 99% of BWs clusters. They are won from events, aren`t they. And how come a 135k c3 is balanced. Or who decides it is?

I know BW is putting a lot of effort and work and is trying to be as fair as possible. But I also know several CC empires have been made botting/PTing. Over and over. Of course you will say they are not, but you also always refused all accusations during the years that you were botting. So were doing moops. So were doing plenty of empires that aren`t here around. But can you reverse all those years when your fed was getting advantage and everybody else knew it did when you were botting and nothing was being done? No. So cut it. And bring it on on the battleground. I can fight with 35 infra as good as your fed mates with max.

It all is so very unfair I know, poor MK. Poor everyone the event did not benefit. Something didn`t go your way and it is the fault of everyone else. I am so sorry that this event and others have worked out unfortunately for you guys, I so very wish it could have been different.

You all make such terrible accusations that are not called for. Because someone else gets an advantage you assume that there is some conspiracy with staff and CC, all going against you. It couldn`t just happen to be something that changed in the game that turned that tides a little for no particular reason.
