AccordEX UW on Fast

Yes congrats to AccordEx. Very phenomenal that she managed to get 141 planets and do a UW within 37 days of starting her empire. It`d never happen to me since i prefer to research first.

DM, I never said i controlled prices. I`m referring to the price wars between me, masta, and the collectives that inevitably break out that tends to send prices down. Last time I came out of VM for any length of time, prices were at 8 and managed to stay there for about 2-3 weeks before they came crashing down cuz me, masta, and the collectives kept undercutting each other and taxers weren`t buying it back up.

As for making BTCs, being in the states where you gotta wake up at 3 or 4 am to make BTCs doesn`t exactly help either. Omegian can attest to that.

All I can say is congrats to AccordEx for finally getting her name on that so much sought after list of successful UW empires.

Everything I saw is IF IF IF. Well, IF doesn`t help. And staying in VM doesn`t make you BTCs.

Ragnar, you surely make a lot of food, but you surely are not the one controlling the food prices on fast. You are nothing more than second fiddle to Masta.

It is addicting I won`t lie, tho when you`re having trouble selling food at 2 as a food making empire, that might have something to do with it too. With food in the 20s and mid teens now thanks to all these UWs on fast, I might play a month and drag it back to 2 again (helping all the viral and terran tax empires in distress in the process) before going back into my slumber again.

And yes, i`m sure your side has more BTCs, tho if they all happened to be offline when you`re being taken down it doesn`t do you a whole lot of good does it. :P

+ perhaps because you seem to be in VM a lot on fast maybe that is why you are the weakest link, i deal with that problem a lot on RT. That VM can be addicting.

Ragnorok, i am pretty sure my side has MORE btc`s and with my income i would have never had to seen explore mode.

If you haven`t noticed, i came out of VM about 20 hours into your UW with little cash and no BTCs. If someone supplied the BTCs and you started your UW a week later, your UW wouldn`t have lasted 12 hours without forcing you into explore mode.

Ragnorak i like how you call your self a big empire, then call people like Snafu a small empire, he is a much greater empire then you. He at least made a few hits against the UW

And again, can`t stress enough how useful big time capsules are to large empires like myself or Darcknight or any other empire that`s high on the rich list that happens to be online and not in the UW fed.

I could finish this UW myself if someone had the caps to supply me with. But whatever.

if you young empires want to be useful, find a 2 land gas or 10 land ocean or something and dig in NP during rare time (6:30 - 7:00 PM server time) and fuse big time capsules. If you need the formulas for the different artifacts, ask one of the guides in the help center and they`ll point you in the right direction.

If the big empires (like myself) have capsules and a little savings, we can smash UWs like this. Otherwise, we`re no more useful in stopping UWs like this than small empires, only we have way more to lose and borders to maintain and all that.

No use straining yourself if people won`t pull together to stop these UW`s. A few people can only do so much.

Like I said, no time to play, and by the time I first saw Accord`s UW, it was already at 20 something hours remaining. I currently have 1 planet, and almost no credits. I couldn`t afford to fight this one. Bad enough I almost killed my empire fighting the last one when I had little money. this time I have even less.

Next one though, and every one after that I`ll fight, just not this time.

True Snafu, most of the time the same people hit every UW.

They do deserve respect for that imo :)

But whatever. No one is interested in opposing, so congrats to AccordEX for an uneventful UW. Nice job. You had it easy. No artifacts or nothing.

Yea, i guess not everyone makes 7-40m a turn like I do depending on food prices. Give me a week and good sales and I can make 2000 nirv and about break even by the time i make the last 200 nirv or so. ^_^
