A.Miner Vs Terran...

i`ve been a terran for a very long time... in Normal, i`m trying as an a.miner just for the heck of it...

but i`m curious... IF any of you all had to choose between a.miner and terran for battle purpose, which one would you choose... i`m not asking which one is better, i`m asking which one you would choose... :)

Valja, when you think people could get any more ......, they prove you wrong lol.

Sad to see all the GCr`s that cannot follow such simple rules as in A or B.

id rather be a terran if i was just hunting but if i really wanted to get up high id be an a miner since minerals come easy and they got alot of star bases

I guess you got so few straight answers because it`s not so straightforward. A. miner have some specific weaknesses in their ships which make them a bit more predictable and terrans win in terms of fleet.

BUT miners have a better income so it`s easier to setup a good fighting empire in such a way that you have low pr, loads of cash for fighting, maybe even explore options. It`s a bit harder for terrans to compete at higher prs in comparison.

Mineral miner on turnbased is not the way to do it though.....

Id say aminer depending on your infra if your mineral you have low base pr and makes it easier to fight for planets =) ship wise A.miner as well. can stack great with there ships.

I enjoyed playing both races... But I would pick terran for fighting over a. miner i think....

For battle purposes Terran because their ships are more balanced, and in general, more efficient fighting machines. I`d stick my head out and say it`s easier to win with Terran rather than A. Miner

Well, I`ve always been a-miner, (oldest empire on RT???) and I`m now planning on being a mineral a-miner on all the turn based servers, so I wouldn`t know about the fighting capabilities of the terran, but I think I`d enjoy fighting with terran more, just because I`ve been a-miner so long, and had the same ship list for ages.

If I did give up my RT empire though (It`s the only paid one) I think I`d be guardian, their role as defenders of the galaxy from evil UWs seems to fit my playing style :P

ok... ok... apart frm a.miner and terran, the other races are way way way much much better... but like i`ve said in the beginning and the purpose of this thread... only ONE between a.miner and terran...

at least these 2 races are readily accessible to free acc players especially new players... collective isn`t that sweet and tender for new players...

again... consider this as the appetizer... only 1 between the 2... which one... that`s all... :)

Terran for figthing.
However i play my favorite race(s)
1.) A.miner
2.) Viral
3/4.) Collective / Guard
5.) Terran

Guard / Terran / Viral are the better fighting races by far.

nedflanders... i`m glad you`ve tried both... you`re having experience with both races but i wish to know IF any of you all HAD to choose ONE between a.miner and terran... which one? regardless of the server... :)

on slower servers: terran
on faster servers: miner
