Is it fair to say that the UW became de-valued as a game accomplishment?
A Atreides
agree with shadowreaper ...

way smoother these days

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that UW rewards were only implemented recently (to my understanding, I only joined this game recently)...so of course more people will want to UW, given more incentive. So, no: UWing has not become de-valued as a game accomplishment, if anything it`s probably more of an accomplishment since the implementation of UW rewards, you get much more reward for doing it ;)

To anyone that thinks that UWing is very easy: Well, why don`t you try one then?

if you look at the UW winners list...a lot of the UW`s pulled off this year were chain UWs. This clearly indicates the amount of pre-planning and effort the UWers put into making everything happen.

I think I said this in a previous post and ill say it again. People need to be more coordinated and serious about taking down a UW because quite frankly they are not hard to take down most of the time if people knew what they were doing. And also consider, if you don`t take 1 UW down, then it`ll be harder to take another one down if the ppl doing the UWs have a chain UW planned :P

That`s more incentive for you guys to stop a UW I guess, many good players seem to have gotten lazy when it comes to opposing UWs.
S Snafu
A UW has gotten to be too easy. Maybe they need to say that triggering the UW weakens the hulls of your nearby fleet?
At least weaker hulls would give us a chance against someone with a PR over 200 million.

On turn-based? Yes.
On Real-Time? Not so much.

then i`d like to see you even try on slow
S Slavyzz
Try one on real time. You tell me.

value of something like that is subjective.

I do remember periods of time where an UW could never get set off, Sometimes close to a year or more. People would band together to defeat the Kalzul whenever they showed up to blow up the galaxy, as well as fight each other to prevent an enemy`s UW from succeeding
S SHADOWREAPERS2
you know at least it seems that away....don`t help that most of older players are are all grouped together now...all the experienced high planet/pr players are either friends or camping in VM...there seems to be more N.A.P.s than ever...so all that makes a UW go a lot smoother than in times of old...
