Sure, I VM Built, i dont deny it, because i saw people ive fought over the 4 years do it, in multiple factions rather it be IRG, DoD or DoTV.

Paceriers UW was a good one, that was partially my doing to get that kick started. But if you want to mnetion about historias, yea i can open a 50 pages of logs showing about 6 months of negative turns of historias on an empire. So yea, we vm because we want to.

Also draggin Admins into this discussion which has nothing to do with it, Admin power involvement that can get you in trouble

Atreides, don`t tell me to STFU because you are so not right. I don`t know what atractor was trying to do. But I know for sure that PP took clusters off him. And he was refreshing on him for some time. You don`t need to be rocket scientist to figure out that he wanted to either build->hit or build->VM. Considering Atractor`s patterns, more likely build - > hit. You know what is behavioural pattern, don`t you? If not pitiful for you. I am not in Atractor`s head but my conclusions are based on behavioral information gathered for a long time. Enki good fighter? He was VMing every time he wasn`t able to 2x. If that`s great for DotV, ok. And not to mention his c3 was PT from Anvil.

If you think the game was alive 2 years ago, my UW was about as active as Omeg`s. And atractor obviously wasn`t in VM. Buying regalos??? You are seeing things... Building in VM? Like ragnarok isn`t doing it. Nor enki did EVERY time I based him. Then he gets to 10 mil, does a couple of hits, based -> VM again. Great. Well there are some edens that VM built too, I agree. But I am not one of the people that do that and I can talk only about my actions.

DotV members who jumped to the EoE`s are just losers who cant take being on the losing side and wanted to be on the winning side .

*sighs* who cares? From now on I`m not bothering to read this thread, it`s just a pain. Omegian`s UW worked, it went off, now both sides are just bickering about things that have already happened and don`t really matter, except to rehash what everyone knows, that the game used to be a lot more fun, active, and balanced. Now I`m going to go, pointlessly peck away at grantweep, and have a good time losing, just because it`s fun being involved in an UW, even if I`m on the losing side. Man I`m glad I haven`t been playing Fast more than a month and don`t even have all my research done yet :P

6) And yes, it is not about numbers but coordination. Actually you lost the ranks not when the numbers changed but almost right away when we started planning and organizing better.

1) Get your facts straight.
1.1. Knightzz was Viral. He did UW. Ok.
1.2. Then he restarted as Guardian. Ok too. He restarted after that as well(he got bored, a lot of arties,100k land or something, 110+ infra etc etc).
1.3. He went agri terran. When I was agri viral, knightzz had that uber empire Atreides mentioned making like 1 mil food per turn(if that can be called uber) but food was expensive and he had half the server enslaved. So you are kind of all right
2) About Atractor restarting - it is not the first time he restarts when he is put under pressure, isn`t it? He restarted his virals in the same fashion consequently on fast and normal when grono won his c3 on fast and he was constantly at 2-3 cols for a few days.
3) Atreides, this is specially for you - hiding at VM a wise move?!?!? It is a NO0B`s move. And hats off to Atractor. He is not a newbie and he has balls. Ok he restarted but at least he doesn`t hide like 99% of you guys. And about atractor never having problems with borders. WHAT?!?! He was hitting donster like every 3rd day because he had no borders for his c2s(or at least one of them).
4) About numbers - ok guys, you think you are not too many? Well, you won`t be. What do you offer to your members? I saw at least 3-4 members of DotV left it recently for the edens. You can`t even keep your own ranks. But ok if the leader has to be a role model - grono, a guy with 1000 planets almost and atreides, the mega whiner on this post that almost exclusively spams caps at me, well there is only one choice. And I don`t think we are that much more high PR fighters than DotV, we just don`t plunder our clusters/VM/restart for no reason(e.g. knossos, atractor, ragnarok etc).
5) Holding the ranks is no more about having a lot of high PR players. It is about how many rich guards are on your side honestly. When you had the ranks, you had them because you had donster, ching, at

As Dei points out, theres a good chance that Atractor actually wanted to vm when he build his ships and if it hadnt been for PP refreshing on him he could have got away with it.

I dont know how organised you guys are, but the core of the Eden players have been playing on the same side for what must be at least 4-5 years now being in contact on msg or through off site forums almost everyday coordinating across several feds.
It means a hell of lot when trying to keep the ranks clear. I can only recommend it.

I will commend EoE`s/2900`s for achieving that position, but a loss of a few key members like ching and atractor also gave them a huge advantage.

Delioche, in all fairness I don`t think you can relate those two situations. My reasoning being is that back then both sides were more or less equal in membership, both in overall membership and in high PR players. Compare that to the current situation where there is a very significant variation in membership.

Also, there is a very big difference between whining and defending ones position as both sides have. In many cases most people are actually guilty of what they accuse others of being. :P
