i got a u large that has Agriculture N/A and Mining N/A
as an a miner what should i put the labor on? i got industry commercal and housing
K Kraven
pfft! weee :)

Infrastructure, not research, lol.

Research increases it by +10% (0.1x base income added onto the base for each level of research).

I meant going into planets and placing infra into mining doesn`t increase mineral output.
K Kraven
Vendeen, are you 100% sure about mining research? I thought that, but I was just doing tests on it and my mineral production did increase as my lvl increased...

Like Raist said there are 3 pathways you can chose as an A.Miner. U.Large planets are exceptionally good for taxing empires (ones researching housing) ,so if you want to make the most use of your U.Large ,research Housing and fill it up with Housing infrastructure.
V Vendeen
For miner, you`d get the most income using pop (housing), but you may be an industrial type person. Miners doing commercial is just silly.

Just as future reference, mining infrastructure doesn`t affect how many minerals you gain from a planet, only the amount of ore mined per turn =s
G GradualIncline
Pop or industry, I`d go with pop as well. Commercial is only economically viable for terrans, as a-miner, never even think about it.

Build pop on your new u.large. You won`t regret it.

As an Aminer, you have 3 pathways of income to choose from, Industry, Tax, and Mining. Industry will give you goods per turn that you sell on the market, Tax is housing and population that will give you credits per turn, and Mining will give you a mineral production per turn. Which one you are researching infra in to be most effective in is the one you want to put your land into. As Mineral miner, you don`t need land, you need planets. As tax , you put your land into housing and build your population up. As Industry you put your land into industrial and make your goods per turn.
