is there a way i can change my speed from slow to something a bit faster?

no that wouldnt be a very bright idea, why? Because you could make an rt account build up a huge empire, max ur credits/minerals and then jump to several million power and then switch to the slow server and set off a uw and no one could stop you. Starting over is the only reasonable means of switching to a new server
Changing the servers would be a nice game feature..... like switching one speed step cost you 50% infrastructure...
And keep in mind that any research u have doen will not be transfered to the new server speed...so anything u have done upto now...well...u will be starting again...Good luck.

your account is on slow, but you can make a new account on a different server/speed
but keep in mind you may only have one account per server, if you are caught with multi`s you will be suspended
