  • G.Sapphire
Buildrate will be changed from 1 => 2

  • G & D class

Marauders D class & Miners G class will be put back into there own shiplists (I.E Miner`s G class is currently under guardian to prevent capture.. While Marauders D class is under Dark Marauder to prevent capture

I have found a possible fix that in my testing appears to work well to disable capture within captureable shiplists..

Long story short this Should change nothing other then providing proper listing for these ships..

However if you do happen to capture any D/G class you are to inform Me personally via PM immediately with details as for How it happened if you are able to..

And if you are a viral and happen to capture/reverse any G/D class ships your entire shiplist will be ERASED

If we ever get an I-tech i rather it cost as much as K class ships, few people would ever wanna change techs that much then.
F freshfish
I like the idea of the I-tech it would make things more interesting but researching it should cost around 4k turns...to activate it another 1000 turns and around 50 bil creds and to run it should cost about 2mill of each mineral and another 20 bil creds....

That way it would be difficult to cheat with?
S Schaijk
I-tech is useful as a normal game feature. It should cost lots of turns, cash and make you loose 10% of your total infra levels. That way people won`t switch infra every week. It should cost a lot to do it but it would make the game more flexible without having to wait a few years for the market to change.
V VALJA
i think we should have something like i-tech but more versatile... some of us long term players have to stick to the infras research forever...

IF it can happen one day, may i propose that we can change all the infras research anytime we like as long we have completed the levels but the trade off maybe we have to pay big money to change it...

btw... i don`t see why anyone would cheat IF it`s legal and no harm in changing the infras research daily as long the empire could afford it...

as long the game could be more flexible and innovative, SFGC would be more interesting for old players and new players to stay longer...

i-tech is a long lost dream , just like fed voting. its a shame but alot of people just have to cheat eh
A AntiNokian
w00t.. this will make me rich :D
G GradualIncline
I also would love an i-tech, but then, I`ve wanted one for ages.
B Biohazard
nice, now lets hope more GC will be on sale
L LordaeroN
Indeed I-Tech would prove quite useful nowadays. I`ve been sitting at 420m PR for ages now, simply because food prices are ridiculously high, and I cannot afford to fight. However, swapping to commercial sounds quite seductive :p
O OttOmaNS
love stephen forever hahah
R Rebanned
this makes me happy, very happy indeed

appreciation and love to our admins :)
T THUNDER
i agree with having and I-tech to
No use to me but i will help alot of people
E EphemeralEternity
i agree with having and I-tech, well a less buggy I-tech, but i don`t like the idea of allowing players a one time use per current empire, only on special occasions such as when economy types are change should it be available to everyone.
R Ragnarok
And yes, having the I-tech would be useful for rectifying mistakes or changing your income path without a restart. Stephen always said that UC was a testing ground for GC, and I-tech has been around long enough. But make the overall turn requirement somewhat high (3-4k turns) and require that the cap lab be researched first so that new players don`t have instant access to it. If you want to use it again, you`d have to play another 3-4k turns.
R Ragnarok
I suppose you`re right Mara. He sees the commercial goods market empty so they try to compensate by researching industry and making their own CGs. That or try making a profit on it in the market as Terran. I guess it makes it easier on the new players who don`t know any better. =/
B BadKarma
Yours truely = you BS? thank you very much.. I was industry miner for a long time and it only felt rewarding when i was getting it returned and food prices were at 4 bucks a pop as well. but I did it because it stimulates the entire market... guardians, tax virals, tax miners.. more food gets bough.. food prices stay high. good for all empires basically.
G Galactic}{Killer
Thats great news, thank you Stephen for implementing the changes.

This will certainly help increase the CG`s in the market and give more viable ways for Terrans (the newbie race) to make an income...

Can i suggest a I-Tech facility to change research, maybe just a one time usage for those effected by the change...

It would certainly balance the equation now, rather than having to wait months/years for the slower servers to adapt...

They see the "we need your support" message. Then they click "Enter and view empire events" and forget all about the log in procedure and its begging bowl. I`d throw some loose change in there every now and then but i dont believe it will be used wisely!
M Maraudian
what does a new player see when he starts Ragnorok , and what does he usually do after seeing it :-/
V VALJA
yayyyyyy... i can make more CGs for my population... :D
