I have noticed that clusters of different minerals reap different amounts of it?

I have tried it already. Both clusters reaped different amount of minerals.
Rutile (with 1 planet as border): 3385 per turn, Strafez: 4378 per turn

Prolohz, here is an idea, get 2 C2s, both of them not Terran Metal & NO OTHER PLANETS
then test ur theory again, cause i believe you get the same amount, u just dont think about all those little borders off-setting the difference

I think he means that a stratez cluster makes a different amount than say a rutile cluster
yep.. different colony type have different mining modifier..
for example, c1 mining is 10, c2 mining is 20
