no there is not way we can do that, if you stay under 5000 power you will be protected, otherwise you will lose 3 colonies a day( if you dont bother fighting)
however there is a trick to this
and that strategy is called "borders"
you have 3 colonies on the top of your manage colonies list, they are the most recently obtained colonies, they have a "b" next to them
those colonies are at risk fro any given normal attack(not enslave) when you are out of dp,
so what you do, is your explore each day, then when you are done exploring, find 3 colonies you wouldnt mind losing, and make sure they are on top
that way, each day when you come out of dp. they will take your pooey colonies, instead of the ones under that, that you want to keep
