Simple Exploration Question

I once found three U.Larges in a row all with max land - that was like winning the lotto on this game

now jsut imagine exploreing for 10k larges since U class is already more rare then other planet types :P

exploring is random then on top of that Barren is just one type of planet, there are 40 types all together & about 20 of those are explorible

then if you do manage that possiblity of a Barren there is another random factor for land size & barrens range from 50 to 1000.... paids hae better luck with getting bigger planets as well

PROBABLITY of finding a barren of 800+ size land is this
0.01052631

so u get lucky when you find 3 nice or more Barrens in a row.
math is 1/20 for planet type
then 200/950 for that ratio of 800+ land

known fact you get better results while exploring during dig times (i cant remember when it was but i do remember a thread possibly a few months ago when this was confirmed)

although it also has a lot to do with luck

tbh i havent done any exploring in about 6 months - so much easier to just fight for your planets....

Well it is random but some people get lucky, some not. It is wide opinion that it is easier to explore during UWs and dig times, but it is not imo. The only thing that makes it look easier is that fewer people explore --> better chance to get the random big planet you are looking for. Otherwise somebody gets lucky and somebody doesn`t(Yes, planet generator is connected and it is the same for each server, e.g. you explore 0000 planet, if somebody else is exploring at the same time he gets 0001 etc etc)

Exploring is just random and it`s fine that way imo
