D.Class Ships

i knowwin/lose ratio is not that impt lol bcoz stacking and building ur empire properly is much more better but again i say i THINK i understand the ships technicalities better than africa as my stats are in the positive when i can be hit every 24hrs whereas his stats are in the negative when he`s in newb protection.. u mean he came out above newb to lose?? or issit to give away planet..

maybe terran should be a paid, guard unpaid..

And ya.. Everybody should really consider being miners or guards as things are atm. I do at least. However if you use more than a half year building an empire - it may just not make sense to switch.

I dont think removing D class ships from virals will solve anything. Spamming virals will still spam. I only play on fast and I have never seen a pyth or angel spam, but apparently its a big problem somewhere...

Besides that, with the curent changes made, I think guards will become way overpowered compared to virals (they are allready compared to others) if D class is taken from virals.

Still.. Spamming is mainly a RT problem.

I would love much more if viral had some ships of their own which where balanced to their economy. Cut the number of ships that can be RE and give viral som ships of their own.

Delete viral isn`t very constructive. If I where like this I would insist that we must delete the RT server!

gilead.. i never say none paid terrans or miner.. just saying there`s not much..

dclass made uncapturable.. a few marus ships are being suggested to change.. and bulls are not even the 3rd best ship in maru shiplist currently.. as dm and a few others have pointed out, the ship has been used mainly to spam to higher pr.. actually if dclass is being made uncapturable and if viral really do stack, their rev eng maru ships would actually be more unpredictable.. thus making them better off without dclass ships..

if anyone who plays gc just love spamming dclass, be maru then.. problem solved..

and about turn based terrans with paid-accounts: on two of the three servers I play (all non-RT btw) I am a terran with a paid account...

and win-lose stats are not very relevant on turn based servers, especially the slower you get (as losing 3 borders saves 15 turns.....)

having said that: I would not mind Virals losing D-class (sorry Africa :P)

Well. IMO people who care about the win/loss ratio are n00bs. You can`t judge an empire that way at all...

I still dont understand why you posted the stats in Africas guard empire.

tell me why viral should and must have d class when they can`t have k class.. both are supposed to be from unplayable race aren`t they..

and i don`t mean from the top 30.. i mean those being active.. i don`t think there`s a a reasonable number of terran miner with paids.. less so with tb..

and when i look again at all these posts, i can still see that whichever factor u`re not winning the debate on, u kept mum.. sigh.. anything else..

I don`t understand what you are able to tell from those stats?

Anyway.. the distribution africa posted is really interesting, and to me just points out again, that this is a RT problem.

lol.. i poo poo poo at ur stats and that too as a guard and under newb protection.. i`m usually above 5k pr and my stats as mainly terran goes like this

certain days i lost as my current work, Singapore Armed Forces, the army of my nation prevents me from having access to electricity as we are in the jungle sometimes.. thus i couldn`t be around for my empire.. though i`ve taken 2 vm so far which don`t total more than 2weeks.. maybe lesser than 10 days.. reserch lvls more than 115 though 2 was from mission if i`m not wrong.. and i`ve been playing at my work mostly.. where sometimes i have to answer an emergency calls or attend to something in the midst of my ships building..

being so, i think i`m a better stacker than u and knows abit more than u on the technicalities of the ships than u newb africa.. LoL..
thus i honestly think u`re redundant to all the topics which is geared towards a change for a more balance game..

Not sure what all your memory talk is about, if you had an accident or something then of course, fair enough that you were away. Not gonna take that away, but the point is still that I DONT CARE how long you played rt, nor how much you stack there and bla bla. I dont think that RT gives ANY picture of the other serves. Theres no bull-spamming virals on fast or slow for that matter.

Sure you can call me a whiner, frankly Im starting to feel like one, but I still havent heard a good argument why virals shouldnt have angels except the ones coming from rt saying you have the big spams there (which imo sounds like whine, but whatever).

You want an equal distribution of players among the races as I understand, right?
I just did a quick counting of the races in top 30 on TB:
Terran = 42
Miner = 26
Guard = 14
Viral = 21
Collective = 14
Maru = 3

Sure, marus are underrepresented, but isnt that logical considering the way they make money?
Is this distribution so messed up? I certainly dont think so! You could argues (as you do) that paid players chose virals over the other races, but its difficult to say how many miners/terrans etc are actually paid and whos not.

/me used to see alot of new players whine about.. /me rarely calls them newb.. /me only calls them newb when they think everything that goes on in gc, revolves around them when its actually the opposite..
and these whiners.. their arguments are generally good but its bcoz they take into the factors only which they think they can be proven right.. and others they dismissed..
for a starti say, rt bring in more money than tb adds up i think.. so usually the majority wins..

Africa, crack was talking about RT, and he is fairly old there, maybe not the biggest and best fighter around, be he actually does stack, and not pretty bad too. He might turn up to be older player than you as well.

Not all virals spam, it is RT thing to do but RT virals generally suck and have always sucked so it is a normal thing.
