Ship Balancing

I agree that the ship-build cost should be set back to normal.

Also, now all races are a bit more special:

Miners` G class can`t be RE
no collective/guard
Maru D class no longer RE

but wait ... virals can still RE the herc. Isn`t it in the same flavour (herc is already set as "special" ship) to remove terran`s best ship (it really is an awesome ship) from viral collection.

Just so that in a month, we don`t need another reset when someone has this idea ...

and secondly. Wouldnt it be better to give the person who is reset DP, as you don`t risk loosing all the ships given to RE then. You may be able to get into DP and disband all your ships, but you would still have to rely on the fact that you have to do the reset, and who knows when this will happen, as i don`t expec you to be online 24-7 the next month or how long it is possible to get the reset.

wouldnt that be wonderfully easy for both of us, not happening.

shiplist reset removes all reversed ships , not just D class

no DP is being given.

I believe the easiest way to do this is to:

1) go into DP (drop all fleets?)
2) Ask for the fleet change (lose my D. angel and D. Bull)
3) In my PM that states I am ready for the change, I request my two new ships, TBD
4) I get me new ships (I`m happy with everthing else)
5) I get 24 hours DP after the new ships are "installed"

Seems like this kind of step-by-step approach is what people are looking for, thx

You know, I agree that fixing this is a thing, however you should fix things like the 4x build costs virals have had to combat the cheap cost of things, just saying.

I would rather PM mara the new ships, recieve them as plundering my fleet just is a great advantage to it getting spammed by those that just love to spam a certain ship, oh wait we dont stack, nvm we dont care about spamming pyths all over the place or stacking, nvm

pyth is an overrated ship, always has been....and yeah pike tiger is a good choice...both are actually a bit over powered and probably the top ship of their type for all around performance

taking out d.class is a good idea, stops lots of players, but those players can still spam pyth.

pyth pike tiger maybe or instead of tiger barracuda either one works.

But i believe taht taking d.class might help some players to not be able to access ranks easy, but pyth can still do the trick.

Donster, only D,G, K, H, R, C, V, and F classes. any starbase and scout....are uncapturable so....any Marauder, Terran, and Miner ship that lies outside of those class restrictions are ones that you can still have

+1 to the question: "so does this mean viral can now only grab ships from Terran and Miner." - will we be able to RE other Marauder ships.

Also, just so I understand, in a month our D/G ships can`t be used and we will be forced to accept a reset of ALL ships at some point shortly after? There is no selective dropping of only our existing RE D/G class ships. Please confirm...

i dont spam with miner, the only time i spammed was when i took down bandits as a favor. otherwise, you probably caught me as i was building. we all know building a nice 10 stack with a miner takes an insanely crazy amount of time heh.

oh btw for anybody who says miner ships needs buffs, you just really dunno what you`re doing with the race
anyway, end of discussion. i dont feel a need to even try and prove myself to you lol

Gonna try to bring the issue of a.miner ships back here >,>

I understand completely the need to rebalance things on RT server with powerful Virals ruling the rankings too easily. But Fast server is very different, most of the top empires are Terran and D class is not a problem - so why should we have to have our hard earned D class taken away (I spent 3 months trying to get D class as there were virtually no active Marauders on Fast) because of a problem on RT? Different servers should have different rules in my view.
