Ship Balancing

UC is a game for n00bs. It was designed as a stepping stone for players, an easy version of GC. STEPHEN is the one who said this. If you want everything nice and easy, stick with UC. GC requires a lot more skill, a lot more understanding. You demonstrate NONE of that. We know what we are talking about. You don`t. Stop arguing with us when you`re wrong. Try LISTENING for a change. You might just find GC more enjoyable if you try to play it as GC instead of UC.

sorry smart one.. we`re the flawed ones.. but oh smarty pants.. actually u can create food if u research agri and build in too.. the forest and ufertile helps alot..

level 3 clusters are not difficult to make.. just abit difficult to hold onto.. explore at least a 20k c2 for unpaid rt.. then battle and explore the rest.. if u really wanna make a c3.. make it be at least 80k c3.. everyone opinion is different..

as i say b4.. gc started 1st.. so if u want a name change.. go tell it in a uc forum.. :)

is it that hard to listen to good advices and only to open ur mouth to ask questions.. why make suggestions when u`re a newb and don`t even understand even a fraction of the game.. this applies to all who open their mouth without thinking.. think.. think.. the brain is there for a reason.. amen..

btw, if everyone though that food should be bought there would be no food to buy. SO the idea of buying food instead of creating is flawed.

btw, if someone planned to pluder everythign they might as well just restart.
If it made since to make 2 clusters to be so hard then there shouldn`t even be level 3 clusters.
AS, for the name thing I said you invite comparision by using the exact same names nothing more. And, it is true using unquie names that are the same invites compatrision even does with peopl`s names. And, its even more so with inanimate obbject. And, evne more in enteratinment and games. Easy to see how muc comparison is made between Star Trek:TOS and Star Trek: NG. If Roddenberry didn` want such comparison and contrast he would made an entirely new series unrelated. Also, even then he would have had some comarision. The more alike two games are the greater the comparision. So, it is wrong to expect people not to compare them when every thing was done to relate them.

Peace01: exploring for `uber` planets is worth it, and it doesn`t matter if they`re barrens or forests, they all become the same thing when clustered. if you find it too slow on normal server, try fast, ultra, or RT.

typo.. wanted to say we didn`t paid not forced u to play GC.. nor put a gun to ur head.. :P

we change the name bcoz a uc player said that we have the same ships name.. lol.. and i swear i thought that gc was stephens` 1st..

i know we need more active players but u`re the most unreasonably newb who when given good advice still thinks that he`s right and is adamant to complain.. and i usually don`t call people newb.. :(
we didn`t paid nor forced u to play uc.. :)
for ur advice i`m on real time and my current empire only explore a total of 4 c1 i think.. the rest i win in battles.. and i keep only whats worth keeping for an unpaid..

P.S If ever i do have a son next time I`m not gonna name my son ronaldo or zidane in case people think he should have their skills and talent.. and since name is such a big deal for u.. someone with a name like peace should just keep his mouth shut and not whine about.. thank u very much..

you are lame, gc agrees. this can be solved by taking these simple measures:

1. plunder that garbage
2. Focus on one income. if you are commerce, then you should make enough money to BUY food from the market. dont waste space trying to be self sufficient because it wastes everyone`s time.
3. Use good planets. The 40 planets you are using for your small income and self-sufficiency could easily be 15 planets. and with 15 planets you could get away with maybe 2 turns of scouts and still be making income.
4. if all else fails UC is still there. No offense but You`re the only person to complain about this in my nearly 6 years here... etc etc. Good day.

Even on Normal i`d plunder those, it will take you longer on Normal, but you can make a good cluster.

800 land is not an "uber" planet. Also, there is a relative exploration cap. There`s only so far you can go exploring. This isn`t UC. You`re complaining that you`re having a hard time exploring two c2s on normal. Yeah, that`s going to be the way of things. Try fighting.

I asm on normal not real tiee and i don`t have 4 hours. I use up my turns and let them regenerate. It is rare to find planets wih 700+ planets I have only found a few and all barrens make for a planet than can`t supoprt the food needed i figure at least one planet per cluster should have food capability so the whole cluster has it.
you people seem to try to be making your empire out of uber planets. That would take too long . You should be able to make an empire out of the avg planets which is 300 to 400 at least on normal server. VTw, as to teh comparison if you didn`t want sucyh ocmparisons you should have chantged the names of ships like viator. Which isn`t like maruader or scout a gernaic word. Spefic names for ship types should have been different which also would sho some imagination insted of naming every ship the same. By doing so you invite compariison between the two games. Using names like cout or maurauder or dreadnaught on both is ok its a generic ship type. But, viator cancer, and aries are`n`t.

yep trust beth here peace, it may take a while to find enough high land barrens to make a decent c2 but on average with at least 4 hours activity you can usually make 1 good c1 a day....good being 4k or more land

Peace if your on RT, I hate to say it but plunder the whole lot. You need to explore and plunder until you have 5 nice planets averaging about 800 land each on a unpaid account, then make a c1. The more land you have the better your income will be.

as i said, its a problem with YOUR empire, not the ship. heh
