that`s my digging experience, unless the formula was changed

I found 5 works well (especially at rare time) but usually too lazy to do anything other than 9 turns each click

I always use 3 turns. not saying its best, just works for me. =)

Certicom... if you want to get full return of your turns... try to use 1 turn... you will get almost 44/45 chances of artifacts... count out the occasionally your digging sites collapsed other than that you can get certainly an artifact every turn... but... make sure you do that between 2pm-10pm server time... except during 6.30-7.00pm and 8.30-9pm...

What is the optimal number of turns to dig at a time? I usually just hit the button a few times so it is doing 9,9,9 until I run out. Is it better to do less than 9 turns at a time?

as a terran... to me any landsize u.spaz will do... get as little land as possible to keep...

Maraudian, I had 3 1 land spazials around the servers and they all failed digging... On the other hand, I have been digging on 10-11 land oceanics lately and they rock. But I have to say my old terran with 2 land spaz did miracles... So I guess it depends on the race-planet combo as well.

10 land oceanic. And admin given planets in general fail at digging.

bw and co have alot of pride in their dig testing...

bw claims that 1 land spaz is pretty fail...

hmm -2 land oceans are good for digging but good luck finding another one, perhaps if you venture to the plunder underworld you can find mine for me and tell it i love it

& i would say race depends.... as a collective you get a ton more luckier with a U.Spazial hehe

1 land spaz is prob better than the 2 land spaz ...

a mystery that might never get solved maybe it deals with world events also? like the eoconomy being down and maybe where u live?

i once had a 1 land ocean....til i was suspended ; )

but i use a 2 spaz and get more then 10 ocean as viral, but ur a diff race so..it all depends =/

digging formula is completely unknown to all but stephen and im not sure he even knows anymore.

and most people will swear by a 2 land spaz in dig time and a 10 land oceanic at all other times.
personally i just keep the spaz

although, I have a spaz base, since it`s just easier.
