Viral D-class

I totally don`t care about the money part, If you can`t make the money to play high power for extended periods as terran, miner, guard, etc then you shoulden`t be playing high pr for extended periods.

Admins are more concerned about the idea because it would be a rather large hassle and could possibly break the server.

Okay TWU I dislike the idea beause I don`t think it overpowers virals. D class are good and Virals should have the option of getting them because viral should be a strong race. As has already been mentioned once virals get settled with their shiplist they can become predictable. I think removing D class option from virals is just narrowing the game further and a big job for maraudian that I believe is unnecessary.

Yes but Bip you can crack the secret of beating any race, just `cus you can beat them doesn`t mean they arn`t the strongest.

Yes I think maybe instead of removing D class, just give the RE D class a silly upkeep rivalling Terran capitals. Since when Guard is balanced, it should rival Viral for dominance even with D class. Maru advantage will then be being able to chill at high power with the cheapest ships, Miner will be biggest income, and in my opinion they should get an extra G class ship (i.e just create one) to make Miner a more attractive race. Terran will have the nice income styles, balanced shipyard and should recieve an update on Emps and Kalis. Collecitve are just a nice race now in my opinion, yeah go ahead tweak them abit but I think they are perfect for the player who wants to do something abit different and fun. Given they were never really ment to be a high power race. Plus with the hopefully sooner rather than later addition of a range 9 Strafez King, and a tweak to Neutrals, my changes should make things alot more fun; Since all capital ships avaliable to Terran/Viral and the Bullhead will cost a bomb and also be out ranged by the cheap and fast Strafez King.

In my opinion the ONLY thing that is really making virals overpowered is their ability to make decent money and spamming maru ships. When I go up over 200m power all I see virals do is spam pyth, angel, and fodder for the most part. And they sit up there MAKING money... It takes me a week of saving just to go up and knock them down... Which is pointless because they can get right back up just about instantly, lol.

Yes there is no doubt that Viral is the strongest/best race at the moment, anyone who says otherwise just isn`t in the right mind.

NO DCLASS FOR VIRALS! wouldnt expect anything else from a maru right? lol

even as viral you will still run into trouble from many races. perhaps owning the ranks with tiny upkeep makes them overpowered to some. (I, for one, have never seen this as being overpowered. let those who like the static nature of 500+million power rating rule their empires in the clouds where they won`t be bothering the realistic people)

but come on. on any level playing field, Guardians, Terrans, and even collective give virals a good run for their money so long as they know what they`re doing.

I still think Guards are still the power players. There`s only TWO ships that beat the ruby and tourmaline outright. STILL. FOR THE LAST FOREVER YEARS.

I REALLY don`t care if virals lose D class. If mara is so rigid on that being the sole reason Virals should be `deleted from the game` (Get real btw), then take them away. See if it makes all that big a difference. THEN, you can quit complaining and work on what NEEDS to be fixed. problem solved. take away D class, go go go.

I don`t think that virals are overpowered. It`s all in knowing how to beat them, especially after the borrelly`s range was dropped to 8 instead of 9. The only thing that makes it hard is the wide variety of ships you could run in to. i forsee balance and a bright future for all races at the end of it
