Formula for Minerial Generation?

Thought i would ask for help since this one is a hard question...

*****
THIS IS NOT POST, "ASKING HOW MUCH MINERIALS I MAKE PER TURN".
*****

looking for something like this below
____Example would be a Terran Metal Barren_____
Total Minerial Mined Per Turn = (Base Value+Planet Type)* race modifier

Lets see who comes up with a correct SOLUTION... or WHO CANT READ & post something else WRONG
V VEhystrix
bipbippy, your result seems to be correct(I messed up the planet modifier) but it still is nowhere near the mineral generation I get per turn, so there still is a factor 23 unaccounted for
C CounterCrazyOP
As far as i figured out.... only GC math to be exact i think is the formula for food production lol & population growth i think....

Bipbippy tell me when u prefect it or something.... i``ll post my current formula that im using

(planet modifier * (1+research"level_m`) *
( 1 + race_modifiers`mineral gerneration` / 100) * (.25)

dont ask me why but i forgot why the (.25) is for currently lol
B bipbippy
Vehystrix if we do yours-

(25*120%*2540%*1000%)+25 = 7645.

Out of curiosity, you should check your mineral generation for 1 turn again...
B bipbippy
Hmm... well, I`ve figured out at least part of it. When we were taking the mod for the C2, we were only considering the 20%, when we really need to do 120% (100% for a regular planet + 20% mod).

But it still doesn`t come out quite right...

With research at 102...

(25*120%*1020%*1000%)+25 = 3085.
Actual amount = 3641.
B bipbippy
Well knowing Stephen`s math skills, I`m guessing he didn`t use brackets at all :P

I may play with it some more later and see if I can figure it out... cuz I`m curious...
S Sol
The formula depends on what order you are doing things in, obviously different things have a different precidence.

eg.

1*102/10*10 could give various answers depending on what order you do things in which i`ll quickly show you with brackets around what im doing first.

(1 * 102) / (10 * 10) = 1
[(1 * 102) / 10] * 10) = 102

it all depends on the precidence of the calculations, unfortunately it seems that either stephen has found a third way of doing it... or one of the numbers in the calculation is wrong, I`d asume its the one representing the percentage.
V VEhystrix
so it seems that the formula is way off?
B bipbippy
Mineral generation on a gas planet...

1+(1*102/10*10) = 103

but actual mineral generation = 11.

unless I`m doing it wrong because I`m tired from working long hours all week and getting up at 4am every day for work... so yeah...
B bipbippy
My mineral generation for a C2 with 102 research levels in mining...

25+(25*102/10*20/100*10) = 535

but my actual mineral generation on that C2 for 1 turn = 3641
B bipbippy
FYI in case anyone cares - Virals and Collectives make 1 mineral per turn per infected or tainted colony, regardless of how many planets are in the colony. That`s at research level 0.
M Maraudian
try turn regenertion & not turn usage might be your problem :)
V vehystrix
Somehow that formula does not compute.
I have one c2 mining red crystal, that is my only colony that mines red crystal. My research level is 254 for mining, and my racial modifier is 10 (1000%)

so 25+(25*(254/10)*(20/100)*10) = 1295
now when I use a turn, I see an increase of 181797 red crystal.

what am I doing wrong?
M Maraudian
all the other formula`s can be found if your looking for em too , except luck and digging , nobody knows those ^^
M Maraudian
the formula is correct , and yes taint / infect are different to normal planets , and yeh normal planets dont work if your a viral or collective
M Macbeth
Yes your right Treize.
S Sol
That formula is directly from Exule`s game-guide and its correct.
T Treize
i think viral and collective are an exception to the formula...
M Macbeth
Your work?
C CrazyMaverickTNMOP
Thanks Sol & thats looks very similiar to what im looking for... however im not sure if thats an exact match but helpful enough for my work.
S Sol
Mineral calculation for GC
Colony Size (No of planets in Colony) + ( Colony Size x Mining Research Lvl / 10 x Planet mining level / 100 x Racial Modifier)
