i was responding to how all the taxers were refusing to buy anything for more than 29, so if such a boycott was in place, then of course the food makers manipulating the prices would secretly post smaller amounts at 28 so it sells.

There are no taxers right now. =p

If you looked at his math, Islander, you`d note that the new number he gave was in fact lower than the number he gave before, giving proof to the fact that he did the compensation in the correct direction. ^^;

Selling for 5, buying for 4, he subtracts what he has bought

Goods dont subtract from your income, they add.

271,685 * 4 = 1086740
(11,842,652 - 1086740) / 271,685 = 39.5896424

Imagine then you need to factor in goods price as well
