i wonder if any one has ever pondered using Viator as a defensive fodder before, since you could build it in dp i mean they do have the 7th highest hull to pr ratio out of all ships on GC. just a might hurt the wallet, someone should give it a go ^^

uncreative people, "use fodder" why use fodder they`re so...over used. Viator is like omg awesome, and not cheap like fodder, plus you can use viator with fodder, a fodder viator gemini fodder aries spam...woot go hull!

hmmm -- yeah viators are good ships 3:1 and a nice ecm mod is decent


but they`re too expensive!
1mil viators would be 30mil upkeep :S

I have lost battles before when all the opponent had left was scouts...

That`s when I learned to use dummy stacks :P

See if it`s cos the opponent used fodder in that stack? If you mean SURVIVED, that means the opponent used some pure missile ship and that stack was at really low PR

i have defended with viator 2 in my fleet and they survived

Being able to build in DP would be the only advantage over others. Maybe a good supplement to starbases. Post here if you have defended your colonies with viators

I think ryu jin would be better fodder than viator due to MUCH MUCH lower upkeep cost and slight attacks, which can eat up some missile ship too.

why not just use fodder, they also have a decent ECM mod and a decent chemical mod - now theres a bonus...
