out of curiousity, what happens if you don`t recall the food ? do you lose it (overflow?) or some such ? someone made mention of food losses as a result ?

well its the probelm to do with RECALLING the food from the market and reposting it b4 it all returns to u.

before the UW i had 48 BILLION food on the market that i had to withdraw and repost as it was down to around 4-5 hours till it came bak, and by then i would of been working (before the UW went off that is) so i had to spend almost 2 hours withdrawing it and reposting. now its a pain doing that, and im refusing to post smaller ammounts for others, sorry but ive not got hte time to stuff around with withdrawing for 2 hours every day come next week.

sound harsh? yes im sure it does, but even if food crashes to 4 per im not too fussed, still make a decent income.

dont see wat the problem is to be honest. u knew wat u were getting into wen u went agri now ur complaining cos the KNOWN downside may be happening? im sorry thats ur fault not mine :D

people may hate for iut but if u cant stand the heat GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!! this applies quite literally in this case. chances are ill buy ur food anyways and repost it, so no loss there for u i think.

EvilA: i think that the concept is that the large agri empires posting food in units of a billion make food sales much more of a batched service rather than a cash flow service. being neither a farmer or a consumer (i did try being a guardian farmer with a u fertile for a very
short time :-) i can see both your requirement as a farmer to get the good out in as few batches as possible - but the perception is that the only way to gain any cash in the meantime is to under on price. this rapidly leads to price falls.

personally i`m more than happy to see high food prices - allows us 2nd hand food sellers to do some things on the market ..

well im not complaining. i personally lke food around the 9-14 mark, people actually buy my billions of food, not when its insanely high like that, but ill post it that high and see if it sells :P

now this should be the time when i`m gloating that as a agri maru i`m atm making around 12 mil a turn but as i hvnt got paid anymore cba to use turns but even so this is great for us argi peeps

It doesn`t affect me at all lol I am an a miner that mines. So with 50 some odd planets I make over 10 mil and don`t even touch food.

Agri collective isnt exactly a walk in the park even with high food prices.
