hitting someone when they build ships is fairly common , i do it alot during rapid combat , for good and for worse , sometimes the extra ships even make you or (s)he lose

could be fed war or counter but im sure you wouldnt post if it was either , GC combat has loads of bugs , this isnt really a bug though , its just a uncommon accurance were you launch an atack the same time they build / dispand , so your atack happens regardless

didn`t say it made sense bip, just said its stephen math, but startopia also has a point,if you saw the guy and you were building as he attacked you (since i asume startopia meant that) that fraction of a second that causes double attack bugs works for this kind of thing too.

Of course there is always the Bipbippy factor, lets not forget about that one what can go wrong in teh game will go wrong in the game to bipbippy.

another possible way it happened was XXXX (the attacker) was hit at the same time as he attacked you.. but he lost ships right b4 he hit you so his power was different than when he clicked the attack button

mine was a counter attack though...

uhm you prob built at the exact time they attacked and they hit you b4 your actual power rating registered

its not about winning smart arse..its about how its a normal hit outside of 200%

sorry i didnt read the post well, this what i get playing GC at work lol. it was an attack from below.

I know i`ve countered from way more than 999% before...

I`m sure I have countered from over 999% before hummm

if you go over +999% it gives you an error message when you attack but most people can get that high over other players.

is there a limit to how high you can counter from. like 999% or something or is it limitless?

if it was a fed war it is fine as it is 200 below 300 above you can hit using fed war advantage otherwise no idea

Perhaps a bug where your PR hadn`t refreshed for a while for the guy attacking you.

Fixing what I said... how do you disband to go HIGHER? Anyways. I should go to sleep, I`m not coherent. :P

perhaps player XXXX already had you in range but you disbanded your fleet at an instant.

it happen before at me (years ago lol), i was disbanding to NP but someone manage to counter me. log showed i was hit in NP hehe.
