Sol does a great job as a mod and a good job as a guide. I criticize, however. If you fail to criticize people they will never know what they are doing wrong, and will never improve. Sol`s biggest problem as a guide is stating things as fact that he doesn`t actually know, and are often wrong.

I agree with Macbeth, Sol does a pretty good job. Take it easy on him :)

TBH I think Sol does a pretty decent job as a guide, cut him some slack.

Basically, sol, just don`t claim something has always been if you don`t KNOW. If you want to state something, state it within the bounds of your time here on GC, or qualify it. When you say something absolutely and then are immediately proven wrong, you kill your credibility as a guide.

Sol once again you don`t know what you are talking about. There were a number of account trades, including during maraudian`s time. And that`s not a rule stephen made, it`s one that maraudian did to make life simpler for him. Just like the fed war thing.

For as long as i have been here account trades have been completely illegal, so you can surely forgive me for not having knowledge from before my time.

note:- i am completely aware the rules page needs updating, its on the list of a million things we have to get ste to do. =(

Sol I don`t need linking to the rules thankyou, no disrespect but I was a Guide before you even made your account. Back then it was all legal, didn`t know that wasn`t the case now, and alot of these new rules aren`t even displayed anywhere... Infact reading that link you posted, it doesn`t say on it that giving your account away is against the rules...

sol is a prime example of what not to do as a customer service rep lol

it was possible...Questrians did it with someone, can`t remember the guys name, last year or so.

It has been done many times with the sole proviso that you do NOT have any account on the server or are willing to get your existing account blacklisted by admin to facilitate the account transfer (so you only had 1 account on the server).

um you used to be able to, and though stephen didn`t stop it, he used to hate it because some people would then spam his email saying their account was stolen and he`d not be able to figure out if it was or not.
