go ahead and try to drop 5000 loyalty and it will go up immediately without even paying any tribute... i got nothing to lose except hundreds of Major Dineros... still wish to enslave me?

guess what... as long i`m enslaved... the moment, after server refresh... better get ready for lotsa Major Dineros... so whichever Kho Shield you`re using better make sure you refresh it during after 8pm server time...

Imagine{A{Cool{Name your wrong the extra stack/stacks can come during any normal hit it is just less likely(originally 33% now i believe it isnt known for sure) on an enslave attack it happens every time. All the above does require the slaver to have reinforcements on but most will anyway.

Enslavement is a good feature of the game but really should have been expanded to affect other types of income as well. Personally i dont think enslaving new players is any worse than newb hunters taking their colonies constantly and is often more useful. Most slavers are happy to give advice and quite a few would release if asked as well as the potential of reinforcement help.

In my opinion one of the biggest problem gc has with new players and battles in general is the lack of people out of dp, unfortunately this is hard to fix as without of people out of dp to attack most people wont go out of dp which makes the situation worse. The majority of players pick gc for the fighting and if there isnt much they wont stay.

the extra stack only comes if another empire tries to enslave you. And only if the Empire that already enslaved you has it set to where his ships will help you.

Rip, you are exactly right, but wouldn`t it be more ideal if it were a willing vassal type arrangement where both empires could win?

I think concept like that could be part of the solution everyone is looking for to strengthen the federations.

Having a strong empire enslaving you is pure gold if you`re a mineral miner. You have no income and therefor pay no tribute and along with that, you can get up to 2 x extra stacks for defence :)

enslavement is weak and outdated.. it only works when miners are tax or terrans are commerce... and those are two lesser used options..

Cinnamon... i don`t consider it a victory... a victory only when there`s no more enslavement in SFGC... :)

i`ve been pointed it out that this enslavement option in SFGC is the weakness of attracting new players... i hope other new players will voice it out too...

i`m a paid acc terran and i`m not interested to change race that can`t be enslaved.... if a player happy, regardless what race he or she choose, he or she will be a paid member one day... please don`t push away newcomers...

Enslavement on SFGC has always made ME nuts as a player, even if Macbeth doesn`t care. Can anyone explain to me how it enhances the excitement of the game, other than this amusing thread detailing VALJA`s victory?

My first week as a player was spent dealing with this, and I restarted b/c of the annoyance of enslavement several times. Why should I be a paid Miner or Terran if I have to deal w/this? The UC model is much better.

seriously... i want to get over this enslavement issue once and for all... there are others who don`t mind being forced enslaved upon, just please choose them instead of me... okey?

as for me, i prefer the vassal system in UC incase i`m interested to be part of it... i don`t mind paying tribute willingly if i wish to seek for protection...

and still... regardless xixixix or anyone else who interested to "force" enslave me in the future, these what i will do...

1st... i`ll go -ve income per turn...

2nd... i`ll see if it`s worth the time to build Scorpies and break free...

3rd... or i`ll wait until i get the opportunity to break free at my own sweet time...

4th... as long i`m being enslaved, i`ll TRY to MAJOR DINEROS daily immediately after server refresh time coz Kho Shield will be refreshed too.... btw, make sure you`re online at that time to reinstall your Kho Shield... and IF i see you`re online, i can wait the next day...

5th... thinking of punishing to drop my loyalty? most of my planets are at 5k loyalty... make sure you have the time to drop it low...

6th... of course, i`ll give you a glamourous time in the thread if you`re being deprieved of attention in Real Life...

7th... oh well... i have the time and means... make sure you too...

8th... etc... etc...

so please... think other candidates to enslave rather than me first... make me your last option...
