Miner Aspha question

For a mining income Aspha (or any race), I understand that size of planet is not important.

But, what about clustering? Should I try to cluster and have as many clusters as possible, or is it acceptable just to have a variety of planets spread over the different mineral types.

I guess my question is: Does a C1 produce 5x the mins of a regular planet (plus 10% bonus), or just the same amount, plus the 10% bonus? (And so on for C2 & C3)

i always say a spread of 2 minerals is best to stop flooding the market an ddriving prices down.

but that only matters when it`s C3`s or you have 150+ mining infra and spewing out so much minerals it`s not even funny

i once played as miner long long long ago... (add the failed UW attempt of 2003) Belial would remember but he is no longer with us.

Best to focus on one single mineral since having multiple clusters producing all mins can be time consuming, dangerous since they might get stolen, and most of all: BORING. Since land size doesnt matter and all you do is research....

Just Cluster whenever you can and try to make all your clusters produce the same mineral.

ok fair enough :( long time since i`ve been miner :D

TWU i think your thinking of built mining infrastructure
R RipShredder
TWU, yes... you are wrong. The modifier affects ore extraction AND mineral extraction.
T TheWorldUnited
i still could swear that the planet mineral mod only effects ore extraction not mineral extraction.... then again i could be very wrong :)
S Sol
clustering colonies is better for mining yes.

and the modifiers for the mining are available in the planet section of the manual.
R RipShredder
Clustering planets is definately the way you want to go. A C1 will produce minerals from all 5 planets clustered + 10%. C2 = minerals x 25 +20%. C3 = minerals x 125 +30%
