their are missions for terran,aminer,any other missions are for paid races altho I believe collective doesnt have any missions. if you are new missions are located at the top left side of your screen they are designed to help you get the hang of how to play that particular race. also for certain races the very last mission can give a nice surprise if you look at the starfleet comunity web site their is a list of all missions and what they entail
