I need to know how to get better planets when i explore. does it matter how many ships i use and what else comes into play when it comes to finding really good planets. like kinds of ships

each race has its own version of a scout ship, they have the highest scan rating which is what is needed to find planets faster. the typs of planets you want depend on your income, aggricluture=u fertile,taxes=land barrens or u larges and so forth take a look at the manual at the top of your screen for these typs and what they do

scouts are best to explore and the only two things i know of to find better planets are during Ultimate Weapons or during certain times of day, i believe that mid to late AM hours server time is best... other then that you just keep exploring and eventually you`ll find some decent planets... the main thing to remember is to be patient.
