i have been building up my housing, commercial, and agriculture on my home planet. i was getting around 1,750 dollars per turn. I went to the research and rose my commercial to level 6 or so. i was getting paid good. Now i have been exploring and i now have 2 more planets under me. And now every turn im loosing about 1000 per turn. can anyone explain what went wrong and how i can remedy this?

Commercial = less money, but less dependent on the market

Agriculture = more cash, but depends on the food price (basically you build only housing and agriculture on your planets and sell food on the market for cash)

First, make sure you have no ships in your fleet. If you do disband them. Second If your terran, its best to research commercial and some agriculture and you will make the most from those two types of income. Housing is good but you wish to focus 90% to agriculture or commercial, I would prefer commercial because its a steady income.
