U Class planetary upgrade

Okay granted we all know U class cant be clustered for reasons concerning game balance among other things...

but suppose that a u class cluster upgrade was included to make the game a bit more interesting.

for instance, the upgrade could only be done on U class of one type only. ( can cluster 5 each of u large in one cluster, and in another cluster you can ONLY cluster Edens or Fertiles... and so on)

But researching this upgrade would take a considerable amount of time say... 5000 turns for any race...

Cluster benefits: (can vary for each server)

U Large cluster: land... and nothing but. mods stay the same
U Eden cluster: land... and population mod +10%
U Fertile cluster: land... and agri mod +10%
U Spazial: Not so much land, as the cluster would be incredibly small, but the benefits of digging would be +10%
U Rich: Again, land issue. Mining mod +10% Some really good mining

Idk... would be nice since getting 5 of each if hard work anyways, plus you cant mix n match so it may be worth it...

this was against the original idea of U class; it suppose cant be cluster-able

I would prefer if they made collectives assimilated bases just capable of using ag and mining... Seriously... *we made you a part of us.. so you forgot how to make food* how could we be so great at makign food, yet can`t do it, just cause we have someone else to do it?.... and personally.. since your Getting such a huge bonus, Anyways, merely from having such a large land base, I think the benefit should be something like -10 -20, rather then +10.. merely for teh sake of game balance... except for perhaps the U.spaz

What I think would be a good idea is a U. Class planet with 2000-5000 land and a +250% (or maybe higher) modifier for industry... and while i have been here long enough to know better, these types of threads are made for daydreams....

sry Mate but Some players that are terrible at stacking (Me) enjoy playing the game for other reasons. Clustering U Class makes my months of digging to make gordos a waste of time and money (Some of us pay for the 45 turns). I am close to getting my little Terran C2 to 40k and had been planning on gordoing a Fert afterward. As far as Ferts being tough to get, sometimes true sometimes not. On my Ultra account I landed 5 Ferts in one hour while exploring for Barrens. landed two Ferts on RT back to back two days ago too. I`m all for game improvements but please remember that some of us play the game differently.

well being that collectives and virals have outstanding clustering options, planet count rarely gets above 400 and thats at least 3 C3 clusters for people who cant infect or assimilate.

Excluding larges is good but a big fertile is a nice thing to have anyway.

And there is nothing wrong with the way it is. but GC changes anyway so its just an idea. makes it more fun and maybe add more ppl

So you can have a 5 planet cluster, with a potential of 50k+ land? And 10k+ Ferts? What`s up with the way it is?
