Help a Spammer Reform

this is 6 stacks only, attack normal, and f.sword for miners queens for terran i never really stack till 10. But when i did i liked this stack

Now I spam plenty as a collective don`t get me wrong. In the clutch I will call upon my good friend brig, his brother gal, and of course is cousin sloop. But just because spams and half spams of those are effective doesn`t necessarily mean that the other ships can`t be incorporated to make a offensive/defensive stack.

It seems very possible to me that balanced stacks mainly incorporating thse (and using the bark and the rest of the neutral armada to fill in the gaps) would be effective enough. Its true that you could make good stacks with any diverse ship list, definitely one with worse ships than what collective has to offer. Its just a matter of method, skill, and luck. It won`t give you as many gauranteed wins as spamming, but it does seem to add a bit more strategy to the game.

And I`m not sure if it`s considered a spam or not since you sorta kinda are stacking, but not really.

I`ve won against 2x pr spams with a fleet like this. Keep in mind that before the brig, there was almost no defense whatsoever against the spams of other ships for collective. Esp if it was nirv/herc or herc/nirv spam.

50-6-% of your fleet as brigs and the rest of the fleet equal in pr to each other can be effective against a lot of spams out there (provided of course they don`t hit on aggressive).

Your little old opinion is quite not true. Yes, 5 stack is not a spam, but it`s not a stack either. And for collective that`s the most ineffective fleet ever considering the lack of no retal ships. Nirv/tyr, pyth/nirv etc etc, pure pyth pure nirv, ruby/tourm, everything will rip it off. And the guy wants a defensive stack to work against counters as far as I see.

anything 5stacks and over is not a spam... this is because with 5 stacks u can hit all 10 ships of a 10stack and can wipe it if u do it right :p... just my little `ol opinion...

6 stacks on defence is worst possible defence for collective. Just brig/gal spam a terran spammer and miner, and throw up together a balanced stack with their no retals at the bottom. Possibly herc top(my favourite for collective).

erm i dunno brig gall sloop pinnace snow, throw in some neutrals too.

your ships are awful for stacking no offense. honest truth. brig+galleon with select changes on occasion.

If your still playing collective you will probably find it easy to change your ways. Their ships are delicious for stacking.
