i thinkt he reason that you are getting into debt is mainly due to the fact that ships not only require the intial fee ut also require upkeep

although you would think that the amount you are spending on ships is less than the money you actually have after a few turns it may turn out that the upkeep is taking so much money away from you that you no longer have any money left - the best way to deal with tthis is to just be careful about what you buy

this game can take a while to get used to and i would just recomend joining a fed and then letting them teach you about how the game works

What race are you Zenthera?
Whatever race you are, about debts. If you have fleet get them all disband. Then stop spending and start researching or exploring. You see, every turn give you income. If you do something required alot of turns, your money grow. Plus exploring and researching can be profitable.

Unless you got a different situation, such as low income empire. Then I would suggest you to restart game. Let someone attack and get you into DP. Explore and dump useless planets, keep the useful ones. Remember the last 3 colonies are for your protections. Always get the useless colonies to the back.

because the person that attacking you is newbie hunter..xD...he disband all his ships and back to Newbie Protection after enslave you...(enslave attack is within 50% range pr)......to know how to play this game...read Exule`s guide..lol
