well in that case yea. The worst possible thing that can happen when you put brigs on top is if they come up against strafez. Brig spams are better when you get higher in pr since you`re less likely to see strafez or fodders on top at such PRs (unless of course you try to hit people who`ve been sitting at high PR for ages and turn out to be strafez floating the whole time).

Not really ragnar, I am talking about a balanced stack, not a spam. Going aggro you will lose 2 stacks for sure but with the right type of ships you will still win. And as viral you can always throw some nirv or pyth spam against that one and win :P

It`s truly easy to win against coll spammer with viral, considering it`s mostly gal/brig spams, just lead herc/queen or herc fodder in a balanced stack and go aggro. That will dominate them.

just use balanced stacks on collectives or overwhelm them with a monster counter-spam

Heh, virals dont win against collectives at all anymore on aggressive, going normal you just behind rape yourself to some extents with 130%, with fedwar then i could understand normal, i prefer careful agaisnt collectives as viral and i barely win half the time with 130% ....Not to say i should win more, but defensively the ships need a little touchup.

And, if i recall me vming, i had darn good reasons. Though the question is do you want my philosophy of why I vm or why i shouldnt vm from your eyes.

Guard has a chance of winning against coll, stacked. Just not hitting aggro.

Actually, GK is building each time he renews his VM, whereas Darck was just gone for quite a long time. Not comparable. ^^; But I understand the premise. Just amused that most of XT VMed when I finally got around to building up and smacking them. ^^;
