Rule / setup for Fed War event

Macbeth that was a really theoretical post, sorry for my words earlier, i just wanted to make it clear i joined CC before it was handed to my empire.

Gordoing enemy c3s is a legitimate tactic. The idea of the 666 deads was to make it so that the c3s would survive being handed out. But now no c3 is safe with just three borders, you need four or you risk having it gordoed after losing three.

geez, even those of us who check in like once a day knew that Sol was all bases :P

was obvious i came out of NP when admin gave me the c3`s and i was instantly put in by someone attacking me.

i then appeared magically at 30mil PR without leavine DP. it was clear i was sitting on a diamond spam. it couldnt have been anything else. just thought id fill in the not so quick empires. =)

Congrats to you Sol for showing that you in dp with absolutely no offensive ships

I think gordo`ing enemy c3`s to eliminate them is a brilliant tactic.

and thanks to all who think they can hit my c3`s with gordos, your all phailing to get them.

i am however gonna do my best to defend these c3`s to the death which im sure will be very soon considering the whole server reckons im an easy target. :P

I think the stance on gorddoing c-3`s shld be made clear

quite a few ppl are going around gordoing c-3`s to negate them

Can this be changed to only if, THE OWNER of said c-3 gordoes it, then it becomes invalid, otherwise then whats the point, if something can invalid your c-3 with 1 arti ?

Raistilin - If you read what I said, I didn't claim it was your fault, and in no way was I blaming CC. I was just suggesting that perhaps the rules should have been that once you have a C3, you have to stay with your federation. the rules are still open for change , however as stated the idea of people leaving before event is half over is an interesting spice to the event

BadWolf - Ok yes I am aware of the `2 week rule', although on this thread it says only 1 week, maybe this should be updated. And I do appreciate the events; I think they are exactly what we need to keep the game alive. 1 week has now been updated to 2 weeks for you :-o

Islander - Where in my post do I complain in hope of `winning' or to get what I want? I just want discussion and clarification, not petty arguments. I`m certainly not a 12 year old.

Maruadian - Thanks for the clarification; I wasn't aware each federation would receive 3 borders. Maybe you should update this post. And although I don't think people being able to jump federations is good for the event, I guess it does make things a little more `interesting'. i hate having to tell everyone the in`s and out`s of every little detail to do with everything , its boring and not interesting at all , just look at how active this thread got from a little suprise , imagine if a big game unleashed some mighty boss into the game and told you everything about it and how to kill it and stuff ... * rarehunter comment goes here *

I think C3s should have been given to pre-determined empires within the federations playing, with one border to cover them from Gordo (which in my opinion is a major fun killer) and so to win a C3 you have to initially take 2 Cols or more on an attack.

As a second point, I think everyone being alot nicer to each other would go along way to keeping the game alive. I always try and be polite and respect other players, both in what they do and in what they post on the Forum. Try it, it`s Christmas after all ;D * High Five
