basicly a thread to discuss idea`s suggestions and fixes to the rules

aswell as formalising them so that they are concrete , as the trial wasnt perfect but i enjoyed it and im sure yall did.

we need seperate rules ofc for each gamespeed , along with a set reward for them.

Current + Future Rules:

C3`s gained from NPC or Galactic Council to Fed Leaders
C3`s can be 1-2 Land Size alternating the value of Certain C3`s
Any Alteration to a C3 will make it void ( assimilate / infect / gordo / plunder )

Vacation mode while holding a C3 will void Your EMPIRE instead of your C3`s , this means if you VM with a C3 , the C3 & You are useless to your fed. but if you return and its stolen, the C3 will still count. this rule doesnt count if they are infected / assimilated / gordoed

Rule facing this update to prevent numerous abuses im sure yall can think of if you put yourself in mr admins shoes , and to make mr admins life easier

Activated Vacation Mode will exclude you from ALL Galactic Council handouts , this includes Randomly given out C3`s and Rewards.

Fed Hopping / Creating / Kicking / Other such unfair advantages any of you can bring forward need rules applying to ensure fair balanced and enjoyable gaming.

i dont think its fair if 6 people in 6 different feds get kicked , make a new fed and beat a fed thats winning , then most likely just return to there feds again.

HOWEVER , i do like the general idea , so im thinking something like a 2 week rule before you become a valid contribution to your fed

cant recall if i missed anything o.o`

Rule : All 1-2 Land C3`s must be either plundered or gordo`d After Event Rewards handed out

Yeah, I like the teams are registered beforehand. No changing allegiances to help one fed win.

feds taking part must register , list is handed out , anyone who VM`s during this time disqualifies fed or themselves ?

The idea that Deiloche suggested about pre-registering sounds like a great Idea and if I could vote on it I would!

Suggestions:
-You VM at all during the time period of the event, your empire is completely void from rewards or c3 contributions.
-At the beginning of the event, "teams" of up to 21 are registered with maraudian. They must remain in the same federation throughout the event. Any who leave are disqualified from the event.

most your VM idea`s there are impossible for me to do

font name change upon having a 1-2 land C3 would ofc be nice but needs stephen and alot of hassle , however it sounds like something anfit could ` possibly ` do

But next time can we have some alternate prize for maru and collective to provide some sort of incentive for them to actually participate in the event? C3s are useless to collective because commercial and industry aren`t part of our economy, so they`re only good for plunder. A 5000 land planet would be about as useful to collective as a 30k c3 to any other race.

It seems a bit unfair that while collective might get a 1 or 2 billion credit plunder from the deal, other races will get a far greater return over the long term.

I think maybe you have to be out of VM for at least a week to be a valid contribution to the fed, assuming they didn`t VM at some point during the event. This is so that if certain people have like 5 days of Vm after the event starts (they activated before the start of the event), then they wouldn`t necessarily be excluded. But I like the idea that if you VM during any part of the competition period (like 2 weeks), then you are basically not eligible for prizes for that particular competition.

As far as fed hopping/ etc. I don`t think it`s an unfair advantage unless they`re the ones that are able to affect the outcome. I was under the impression that if you left your fed, the c3 would be useless to both you and any fed you decide to join. If that rule were kept, then the "6 people in 6 different feds getting kicked, forming a new fed, and beating a fed that`s winning" scenario would be held in check, since it would be useless to both them and the fed they create.

And I concur with the 1 week rule where people have to be in the fed at least for 1 week before they become a valid contribution.

I think that there should be some way to "mark" the empires that have the 1-land c3s so that they become a bigger target and people know who to gun for. If you can`t anything other than putting up a banner broadcasting to all GC who currently has the c3s, then so be it. But putting that empire`s name in the rankings in red instead of white would be a cool feature if it could somehow be implemented.

Excellent job on the trials mara =) Brought a good bit more activity to norm and RT imo. And will continue as the hunt for the rewards gets underway.

id say two weeks would be good imo... would prevent people from going to one fed halfway through or later in the event to win
