basicly a thread to discuss idea`s suggestions and fixes to the rules

aswell as formalising them so that they are concrete , as the trial wasnt perfect but i enjoyed it and im sure yall did.

we need seperate rules ofc for each gamespeed , along with a set reward for them.

Current + Future Rules:

C3`s gained from NPC or Galactic Council to Fed Leaders
C3`s can be 1-2 Land Size alternating the value of Certain C3`s
Any Alteration to a C3 will make it void ( assimilate / infect / gordo / plunder )

Vacation mode while holding a C3 will void Your EMPIRE instead of your C3`s , this means if you VM with a C3 , the C3 & You are useless to your fed. but if you return and its stolen, the C3 will still count. this rule doesnt count if they are infected / assimilated / gordoed

Rule facing this update to prevent numerous abuses im sure yall can think of if you put yourself in mr admins shoes , and to make mr admins life easier

Activated Vacation Mode will exclude you from ALL Galactic Council handouts , this includes Randomly given out C3`s and Rewards.

Fed Hopping / Creating / Kicking / Other such unfair advantages any of you can bring forward need rules applying to ensure fair balanced and enjoyable gaming.

i dont think its fair if 6 people in 6 different feds get kicked , make a new fed and beat a fed thats winning , then most likely just return to there feds again.

HOWEVER , i do like the general idea , so im thinking something like a 2 week rule before you become a valid contribution to your fed

cant recall if i missed anything o.o`

Rule : All 1-2 Land C3`s must be either plundered or gordo`d After Event Rewards handed out

agree with pandy...

out with the boring...? haven`t you heard, no one plays GC anymore. Disqualifying entire feds on the basis of one VM`er will make for a lonely contest indeed.

I agree with Maraudian. It makes things interesting. GC has enough boring. Out with the boring!

But there will definitely have to be a land cap. Giving out much bigger than 40k on a server like normal to one fed is too much. 30k is a bit small, but anything over 40k is really pushing it. Though really, I wouldn`t mind getting a c3 with 31415 land on it. :D Or a 16180 c2. :D

if all the top feds register , say they all have like 500 planets , and have to vm to protect them in this war , it places a much bigger risk on such things , maybe that person wont vm for his team and will lose all his goods , it will make ` the war ` alot more fun in my opinion , give smaller more active feds a better chance too...

If the entire Fed loses because of 1 member going into VM, you will have very little or even no participation. Why not Members with the C3 (anyone with over 126 planets) in VM? disqualifying the Fed or the offending Fed Member only.

i agree its a bit harsh on a fed that if 1 registered member goes in vm the rest are disqualified you could have someone registered for you that is stopped from playing by rl causing vm which knocks a whole fed out. That could happen to anyone and cant be predicted.

In terms of a traitor it would be the feds fault for including someone that isnt trustworthy and if they get betrayed its up to them to go after the person
D Deiloche
Kinda their fault for including him, isn`t it, when they were forewarned?
A ArchAng3l
anticipate flamming occuring if this rule of one person vm causing whole fed to void is enforced and then some fed happen to encounter traitor :S
M MaraudianOP
well anaboliking was allowed , pretty much the same thing with less dmg
D Deiloche
Mmmm, interesting. Also adds the element of trust... do you actually trust the member you`ve recruited to join your little circle. If not, you could be in for a nasty surprise at the end. Interesting.

Ye digging on the c3`s sucked
D DrunkenMasters
Or just treat only the players registered in the fed for the contest, the others won`t influence it.
M MaraudianOP
traiters in feds is a part of feds o.o
D DrunkenMasters
I suggest we make a formula for the c3 size based on the server etc. So we know whether it`s worth registering 5-6 man fed for the event or keeping it bigger.
Did anybody try digging on the c3s?
K Kyril
and someone might just use this rule to abuse the event..just my opinion:P
K Kyril
Sound a good idea..but why any member activated VM will disqualified the whole fed?If someone registered to the fed and actually is spy on it..at the very last moment he VM`ed...isn`t it a bit unfair to the other fed members?I think if only void the VM player maybe is just enough..
M MaraudianOP
So feds must register before hand

gamespeed + amount of members in fed upon rewards being handed out will affect reward size

no VM is allowed from feds Registered , IF VM is Activated by any member fed is disqualified

i was thinking a price is required for feds who register , that will be lost if they lose , and the winner fed also wins this little kitty , such as a month paid coupon per fed or artifact amount ( then the winners leader can dish this kitty out as he see`s fit )

this of course is just a suggestion to spice it up even more.

Or at the very least cut down on non essential people who aren`t really doing anything to help out (for example inactive people in np).
R Ragnarok
Yes, or make it known what certain actions will do. Like for example, would the land count of the c3 have been higher if the fed had fewer members? In that case, there`s less reason to have more people help out and more incentive to keep the fed down to a minimum size so as not to dilute the prize for example. Would have been helpful to know that little tidbit before hand.
