basicly a thread to discuss idea`s suggestions and fixes to the rules

aswell as formalising them so that they are concrete , as the trial wasnt perfect but i enjoyed it and im sure yall did.

we need seperate rules ofc for each gamespeed , along with a set reward for them.

Current + Future Rules:

C3`s gained from NPC or Galactic Council to Fed Leaders
C3`s can be 1-2 Land Size alternating the value of Certain C3`s
Any Alteration to a C3 will make it void ( assimilate / infect / gordo / plunder )

Vacation mode while holding a C3 will void Your EMPIRE instead of your C3`s , this means if you VM with a C3 , the C3 & You are useless to your fed. but if you return and its stolen, the C3 will still count. this rule doesnt count if they are infected / assimilated / gordoed

Rule facing this update to prevent numerous abuses im sure yall can think of if you put yourself in mr admins shoes , and to make mr admins life easier

Activated Vacation Mode will exclude you from ALL Galactic Council handouts , this includes Randomly given out C3`s and Rewards.

Fed Hopping / Creating / Kicking / Other such unfair advantages any of you can bring forward need rules applying to ensure fair balanced and enjoyable gaming.

i dont think its fair if 6 people in 6 different feds get kicked , make a new fed and beat a fed thats winning , then most likely just return to there feds again.

HOWEVER , i do like the general idea , so im thinking something like a 2 week rule before you become a valid contribution to your fed

cant recall if i missed anything o.o`

Rule : All 1-2 Land C3`s must be either plundered or gordo`d After Event Rewards handed out

Don`t be so negative opus. look on the brightside they- the powers that be- are atleast trying to make the game more fun for us and i for one appreciate it

i think its awesome mara does these events. it is fun to compete and all but i do wonder why they always come up when certain people retook the ranks by miles.
guess it will end like the last event then and the ones with most clusters end up loosing most ;)

While not relevant to the reality of the situation, TNM, I would like to counter that many of the players of this game are students who are MOST active during the holiday season when school is not distracting them.

It`s not just 5 players participating. He just means that fed will only get 5 c3`s. They could all be given to one single member at once, or to 5 different members over a three week span.

Personally im gong to Infest any cluster i get or plunder it.

Also having an Event in December, i got to say smart choice since im going to VM along with other Empires who travel during the holidays to visit family or home or wherever they want to go.

and to spice things up , land size of reward will be calculated by C3`s in existence at end of the month ;)

a fed war event will start on the 10th of december and end on the 10th of january , a new one will then start on the 10th of january and end on the 10th of feb

both these month events require an application from fed leader atleast 24 hours before it begins.

5 members from each fed taking part will be given a C3 , all feds taking part will be listed here , it will be your job to moderate VM by informing me.

this is ofc for RT

Might want to consider one after Christmas since many players will be away for the holidays and will want to use VM.

The solution of course is that the fed has the option to kick that person and preserve the ability of the fed to receive prizes if they are winning or simply disqualify that person from receiving the prize, not the other members.

Of course, if the member who VMed was also the one that won the lucas c3, then of it would void that c3 and thus the chances of that fed winning.

And I`d say that 40k land sounds about right for a c3 prize for normal.

So, if you pick the right member, you could potentially disqualify every opposing fed by forcing a member to VM, and then win by default.

I do not think that including the VM thing is worth it.

Also, there is another threat as well. Suppose you get like 20 or 30 historia lodged against you if the event were lodged on say fast? You would be forced to Vacation in order to get all those negative turns out because not only do you lose a lucas c3 you might lose all your clusters. Thus it would give empires that spent time digging an unfair advantage over ones that didn`t and don`t have connections to people who do.
