MINING

What is it ?
Mining excavates the planet`s available ore reserves.

Tips
Some planet types may contain more ore than others.
Try not to build too much mining infrastructure. Because mining infrastructure
will become useless once the ore reserve on the planet is depleted.

Mining technology levels increase mineral generation for the colony by 10% per level

Revenue
Generates ore depending on technological level.

Construction cost
10 credit
1 ore
1 labor available

Maintenance cost per turn
1 credit
1 labor

I have invested significantly into mining technology based on this information however my mineral output remains unchanged. Miineral production I have read elsewhere that mining technology improves output of ore this is coontradictory information that needs to be corrected. the restrictions to mineral output for the collective race are unreasonable and make it nearly imposible to succeed as this race I believe there need to be some modifications to this races restrictictions. 1 thing that might improve the playablility of this race would be changing the starting planet frome terran to stafez another good change might be to change the colony limit from 10 to 12

this seems to be already answered, you`d make more with clusters than singular planets considering that planets mods are included in this.

ore is not a renewable resource, once it goes its done and gone for good, so only minerals will keep producing.

Mineral calculation (GC)
Colony Size (No of planets in Colony) + ( Colony Size x Mining Research Lvl / 10 x Planet mining level / 100 x Racial Modifier)

so a example here would be if you`ve 5 planets all icy`s for example with a -50 to mining and you`re a aminer with 10005 mni gen then that means

5 + (5 X 5 / 10 x -50 / 100 X 1000%) =4.75 minerals per turn

now if those had been a cluster instead the formula would be

5 + (5 X 5/10 X 10/100 X 1000%) = 55 minerals per turn
