well as the title says

staff will be at random posting questions in here , first to reply with the correct answer gets a random prize

this excludes guides because they smell funny and i dont like them.

so yeh be sure to browse the HC :P

For the record, here`s the formula (It might not match many of the guides out there, but I know it to be true from experience):

Plunder value = [ ($40000 * "# of Planets") + (500 * "Population") + (1100 * "Infra Built on Colony" ^ 2 / "Total Land") ] * (Race Mod # + 100) / 300.
I think it`s rounded to the nearest integer but I`m not quite sure on this.

Loyalty doesn`t affect plunder value.
Factors in plundering are population, amount of infra built on the colony, the ratio of land used on the colony (infra divided by total land), number of planets in the colony, and race modifier.

population, loyalty, infra on col, housing, # of cols (cluster), race mod, land.. perhaps the alignment of the planets in your solar system
