Heres a great idea,
have a rich list so players can see how rich they are,

it would make aminers so much more interesting :),
it would also give you a good idea of how your empire compares to another rather than just how many plannets the other player has...

GK i don`t go "pissing everyone off" i have a ton of friends in gc.... it doesn`t matter how many barerras you have as they can very easily be broken by someone with enough arti`s and you can`t constantly be checking 24.7 to see when your shield has been broken. And as for scaring them... big arti spammers can`t be scared with anything at all and will arti spam you regardless, even more so if you start using any arti`s on them.

HoneyBucket,
Simple, just have friends.
Meaning instead of pissing everyone off (enermies), get lots of friends (allies) to help you with barrera`s, or have a big store of arties youself so you can SCARE the dung out of anyone who thinks to using on you...................

DarkRune... being on the rich list lets other people know how much money you have, thus if someone is out to get you... they know that every time you appear on the list that that is a good time to arti spam you... not everyone on the list gets spammed but anyone who is disliked by any arti spammers usually is.

HB being on the rich list isn`t why people spam you. They spam you becasue they hear of you and are jealous of you and when they find out you have money then they spam you. I was on the top of the rich list for over 1 month straight about 5 months ago and I didn`t get a single artifact used on me even when I went to the forums and asked people to use them on me. WASTE your arties on me... not a single one was used on me.... needless to say i was kinda depressed ):

dreamland... i know what it is like to feel proud to be on the rich list... but when it happens more often and everytime you get on it someone spams you with arti`s killing your cash all together... it stops being so glamerous and becomes something you avoid whenever you can.

This is a terrible idea and maybe you should just stop making suggestions.
If you think a simple list would make Miners more interesting then erm.... yeah i don`t think so.
