Removal of Rich List
*Summary

Detail

Rich List has been removed temporarily to monitor the effect on the market.
A lot of empires have complained about the high level of artifact spams upon getting onto the rich list. This in turn results in market buyouts galore, the idea of the trial is to see the effect on the market of the removal of the rich list.

Artifacts in the Galaxy altered to encompass only the server

Minor backend changes to make Staffs jobs easier

I know its not much and is another removal but baby steps and all hopefully new stuff upcoming in the fuutre

Hmm Can we please get an ETA, it has been almost 4 months now and most of the people who posted here want the Rich list back. How long is needed to observe the market?

Wow, still no return of the rich list...I left for the past month or so because being a miner, making it to the top of the rich list is a big thing. And after making it to #6 overall, I`ve just walked away from the game. I was hoping that when I came back something woul have changed, but to no avail. Sad to see only 50 people on right now, GC is dead.

Well, I guess this is a good improvement. Keep up the good job to see how to balance the Race... i mean Viral ability vs others...

OK, all we see is still 2000 price minerals, market is still then same. So when are you gonna bring it back to normal?

taking away rich list to save the people that bot on rt from getting dinero spammed i dont see any point in. The artifact stores in galaxy is nice that its finally been "fixed" but any idea on how often it updates?? so far it still shows the current artifacts there was 3 weeks or more ago ( i know for sure as it says there is 2 grand dineros on slow, thats what i had 3 weeks ago, i got more now :P ).
and yay for the endless backend fixes most be pretty easy being staff theese days considering stephen is doing all that work on them backends

hey thats not right i agree with zarjfed artifacts should be used against the strong so us not so strong can have a chance to get our empires off the ground and help any feds we are with bring back the rich list plz

Why doesn`t stephen just put an end to GC? Much better than this slow painful death... What`s going to be next to go? The feds? And hello, the point of artifacts is to use them on people (particullarily the rich or strong). So what are they complaining about???????

lets face it, its alot easier to highlight ahuge code then press delete, and call it an improvement than it is to start from scratch and try writing that code -lets face it this is the easy way out and soo many people complaining must show them that actual things need to be done, when i had a short stint on uc there was a page in which steven listed everything he was doing for uc like a diary, imagine what that would be like on gc:

Well then Reckless you are the intelligent one and realize that stephen is never going to do anything more for GC? Hmmm Why do you play then you like watching this game and all it`s better features be stripped away? I have been playing this game for about 4 years although my profile says less "My character was deleted due to confusions with my brother".

notice how (A) and (G) havent responded to this yet cause they know how pissed we are about this. Although i never strived to be on the rich list it serves a point that GC is being stripped bare and left for dead. I WANT TO SEE QUALITY UPDATES NOT SOME BS REMOVAL. AND FOR PETES SAKE BRING BACK THE ELECTION SYSTEM. SO WHAT IF NEWBIES COMPLAINED IT WAS PART OF THE GAME> I AM PROUD THAT MY FED NEVER GOT ANNABOLIKED AND IF YOU BRING IT BACK IT STILL WONT CAUSE ITS A PART OF THE GAME AND WE KNOW HOW TO PREVENT IT. I think it should be brought back. I`m a miner and was only a couple of bill from hitting the list. Now i cant. Coz there is no list. Rubbish
