Chlorite vs Thor...

Here I am bored as heck at work and started comparing simular ships to each other. Taking weapon power, hull, pr, upkeep, cost(including mineral use) and build rate, well everything there is. Comparing all this which one do you think is the better ship overall?

Not to mention attacking A. miner starbases... in that case P. thors the winner. we see so many UW`s with 10 range Hoko`s and Lakko`s on top. they arent that strong but when theres 300 mil pr of each they dont have to be. Thor is one of the only ships that can deliver some damage to them from way below pr...

M.Chlorite is cheaper & has a more balanced ratio but P.Thor is one of the best attack ships

That is very true Demacus. They take forever to build, then the cost is so crazy it`s hard to build them up in a high pr stack, but just like Sol said, that range is awsome. When you need to get past Pikes, epis, Bswords, the Thors are just so nice to have.

lol with their slow build rate low life i`ve never seen thors high pr where dangels and strafez roam around every corner atleast in top stacks

chlorite rocks at low PR but many people prefer the fantastic range of thor at high PR

Tiger ftw 1:1 hull pr ratio 30% energy shield -20% kin +20% ecm

and slighty less damage to pr ratio as chlorites 1:1.25 vs 1:1.236
lower upkeep
thors seem to die to easy imho... they`re nice if you have intel on target and know where to use them but other then that too much of a dice roll
so tigers are best =P god i miss marauder
