"Kicking fed members then atacking them for any reason other than being utmost evil ( stealing planets / inducing Dp / any other unfair gain ) is of course against many game rules."
I`m sorry, but kicking fed members due to inactivity is not illegal, and makes perfect sense if it looks like they`re about to lose clusters.
What happened is that ching, on normal server, saw that one of his fed members was not logging in for several days after his VM ended. He kicked another fed member in order that the cluster didn`t fall into enemy hands (and so that the empire didn`t get deleted after 30 days...which is why he didn`t kick the inactive member). Maraudian somehow noticed this little incident and suspended not only ching, but the fed member doing the attacking AND the fed member that was attacked.
Not only that, the member who was being attacked logged in shortly after all 3 of them were suspended. Now none of this was in any way his fault, there was absolutely no hard evidence that he had anything to do with this. Yet, he logs in to find that he`s been suspended for planet transfer. I mean WHAT THE F***!!!!!
But of course Maraudian, like many cynical policemen that spend all their time catching evil people that hate their guts, assumes the worst without proof and just assumes that ching, a RESPECTED player, is a cheater.
Ching is many things, but a cheater he is not. I have known this person for the better part of the 3 years I`ve played this game, and he has ALWAYS been against cheating even when the temptation was strong. If it would be perceived as even remotely like cheating, he wouldn`t do it.
I REPEAT, CHING WOULD NEVER EVER EVER EVER KNOWINGLY CHEAT!!!!!!!!!!
There were no warnings, no prior offense or history of cheating, and yet he`s lumped in with people who did nothing BUT cheating and STILL got a break.
I`m sorry about the rant, and respect Maraudian for what he`s done, but this is wrong and Maraudian is in the wrong on this count.
