I certainly don`t like the buildrate. It`s kinda cool for RT, though it certainly benefits the rich the most... given that I`m rich, well, everywhere, this is benefiting me a lot, but I still would like to see it go away.

As for it benefiting my buildup... not really, actually. It just means I`ll be done sooner, but my UWs are still a ways off, based on when I`ll actually have the time to do them.

True Arch. I would say so. Especially on turnbased more than RT. People gotta have more faith in turnbased servers

This hurts the poorer empires who depend on building a decent but small fleet to defend. When within 20 turns you can build to 10x their defensive pr to counter, it`s just crushing.

The higher the build rate, the more favoured are the rich, established empires -- who can also afford to keep building to escape counters.

In general, a smaller pr cap is fairer than a bigger build rate -- even if the effects look similar, they are subtly different. -- Fairer for the starter/average empire

i`ll say. As a surprise event it rather mucked up the strategies a bit and considerably accelerated any long term UW buildups going on *looks at deiloche*
