ok i know i`m a newb, anyways after being attacked by the same person seven times. i started to wonder if thats really fair. twice i was attacked while building an attack fleet which was severly limited since i`m just starting and can not buy any rescources since GC doesn`t offer buying from the black market.

in any case i will eventually crush this other empire in revenge but think maybe there should be some limit on how many times the same person can attack you.

While it is considered etiquette to not attack someone more than 3 times in a row in a very short period of time, there is no rule limiting someone`s ability to repeatedly attack. Keep in ind you do not have to come out of DP after being attacked, you can use that time to do research, explore, build star bases, or dig for artifacts. coming directly out of DP after being attacked to attempt a retaliatory attack is usually not a good idea and can end up in more planets lost if the aggressor attacks you again before you have built a well stacked fleet. Be patient, take your time, wait till the other person is offline or well out of your range, then attempt to do what you were previously doing. Eventually, you will get the hang of how battles and stacking works, and you will be able to more efficiently defend your empire, and initiate counter attacks.

You should just stay in DP once you get attacked you have a 24 hours damage protection.

This is a war game so yeah if you do not want to be hit stay in damage protection its very safe ^_^
