L.Emerald

I have one concern I`d like to address about this ship. When compared to the L. Topaz, it seems to me that the Emerald should have a little more kick. It does have +1 range, but its hull is greatly reduced (Which I understand for a destroyer), but it still has about the same PR with the exact same weapon capabilities. Does that +1 range really constitute for having a similar PR to the Topaz, or is it possible that it could use a bit more of something.

i think ronin mean he oni use agate from g class.. not agate among all the other guard ships.. so ronin should love tom :P

Ronin? why use the Agate? its got the energy 99% defense but apart from that the tourm beats it in every way, considering they have the same pr

i would agree witht he emerald, i have tried using all the L class in battle and in the sims against all guardian killers and your cant get a win on anything near 1:1 pr youve always gotta have more pr value of ure L class usually on agressive (negating the high hull of your other ships) in order to do any damage

to make L class besides garnet not be as much of a joke as they are now they need more damage output. No idea how much but just a little can go a long way. Lowing the PR by dumping scanner rating may also be an option but not one I wanna tackle right now

yup.. i oni used garnet.. unless i know its guard spam, then maybe garnet and emerald spam.. emerald damg/pr is so low already, wonder why we need a shorter range and even lower damg/pr topaz..

Yep L garnet and G agate are the only ones useful from the L and G class in my mind

Guess thats why we have Ruby, Li, Tourm :))))))

agreed, garnet is the only one I use atm, the others ratios are too low and shields/hull makes them a glass cannon

meh, thats the pro and con of using the emmy, thats why most people never use it unless you know where to play it correctly. Best used against Flysche or Pyths if your other 2 L ships are taken

Nope, you`ll find on GC Normal and Fast. Why would asking a simple question be grounds for assuming I play uc?

The gaurdian ships are fine as they are and yes the extra range makes a difference.

also if ur going to use a gaurdian destroyer use the hun-li or coorun

One other thing, why is the L class simply missle based? Couldn`t this ship have a second yet reduced secondary weapon?
