Many of you`s dont know this, but the chat that you see on the right hand side of the screen when playing GC is apparently a "UC CHAT". This is not the case. This is a chat that is used for both games, no single game owns it.

The way I see it is if people from GC RT use the "SPACEFED - Chat" then it`ll be alot better for the game. Chatting on msn behind the scenes makes the game seem dead when really its quiet active.

Im focusing on increasing the games potential, helping New empires to the game and also to show everyone else who hasn`t tried GC that it is active and that it isn`t dying and becoming dead.

GC has missions currently in production for Marauder, Viral and Collectives race. All races will be updated to 3 acts instead of the standard 2.



I personally reakon that this is the best option to help the game progress and get back to its former state. Join the cause, you won`t be dissapointed. Their are alot of people working behind the scenes to make this game improve, please dont let their work be in vein.

anyways most of the uc players dont use chat its mainly the same people everyday its like they have a routine but its the same uc people every day maybe 90 total differnt people that use the uc chat everyday all day

That is correct. That wast he purpose for it being created in the process but in amongst all the confusion, it has died off so that only UC use it. GC players may be out numbers when chatting on it, but in all honesty, that doesn`t mean we have to get booted and not be allowed to talk about GC. Both are valid Spacefed games, so both are entitled to the chat room, and i`d love to see GC`ers talking their constantly. Its better than staying quiet, chatting amongst our own fed discussion boards and not making our presence known. At the moment, it seems that everyones hiding in their cucoons and chatting away in private when in actual fact, everybody should be chatting in the open and that`ll push newbees to do the same, to ask questions and the like. I think its a really good idea, something GC hasn`t had in a long time that is long over due.

I believe that WarRealm is asking us GC players to use the available tools like chat to help newer GC empires stay and enjoy the game longer. You know "Teach someone to fish" I agree that we need more chat time but remember there are 5x more UC players so it would be normal to see 1 GC`r for every 5 UC`rs. a separate chat would be nice but we can also learn something from players that belong to GC but are at work and only logged on to UC.

Lets let our presence be known every once in awhile!

I believe that if all members of both games were to use the chat then it would make both games a little more appealing. UC is good for one type of player and GC for another. I have played both games and feel that I am more of a GC player.

The problem seems to arise because many players on UC are more able to voice their thoughts. UC is now the flagship whereas at one time GC was. Many moved across to UC because it was supposed to be so much better than GC. I tend to think of it as a totally different game. Nothing at all like GC except for the names of the ships and the market. All the other aspects are totally alien to GC. So maybe those who read this and haven`t given GC a go should try it. After all it`s a very friendly atmosphere with many willing helpers. I realise this is not to all peoples tastes but I also think that being ready to defend a very good game from being overlooked by the creator of it is a good thing too. Maybe Stephen will read this thread and realise that there are still some very loyal players playing GC. Maybe, Maybe Not. But I enjoy it anyway. Have done since 2004.

Chozo : I was referring to sharing that chat because it physically is being shared and that wont change. If we flood it with GC as well as UC then it makes GC more appealing to those UC`ers who havnt bother playing it because no one chats , so no body bothers to post for help thinking that no ones their to reply.

I believe that if GC chat happened , then new guys to the game would see that and ask questions without having to figure out the PM system

Some of us suggested that idea about seperate chats instead of a merged one along time ago and everyone, including Stephen shot it down. I still think it`s a great idea. I tire of seeing messages like "Anyone need a lord?" "Anyone want a vassal I make blah blah blah" when those things don`t apply to me or the game that I`m playing. GC chat for GC would be awesone. UW for UW.
