I don`t know about everyone here, but theirs some serious issues with how the rules are outlined :

"If I wanted to take my laptop to a mates place and play spacefed, and he plays also, Can we fight along side each other?".

As far as Im concerned yes you can! Their is nothing in the rules saying you cant. If you have a look at the rules below, they outline that you cannot TRANSFER minerals, planets, or exploiting a loop hole in a bug for personal gain.

My question has nothing to do with any of the things outlined their.

Game : Things you may get suspended/blacklisted for:
1. Using someone`s* account to induce DP
2. Using someone`s* account to gain planets or resources
3. Purposely transfer ownership* of planets to avoid counters
6. Exploiting a loophole or bug in the system for personal* gain
7. Transfering minerals via the market.

If you have a look at this next webforum link which was written about Sharing of Internet Connection :
http://gc.gamestotal.com/i.cfm?popup=help&type=rule_sharepc

On this link it outlines what a "SHARER" cannot do on the game.

2 Paragraphs stick out :

Restrictions
The following is not allowed for `sharers`
o Attacking between `sharers`
o Artifact usage between `sharers`
o All other transfers between `sharers`

(Nothing is mentioned here about fighting along side somebody)

But this paragraph here might mean something :

Attackin
"You are not allowed to use a `sharers` account to scout for target`s stack arrangement for another `sharers` to attack, and if one `sharers` is attacked you are not allowed to login another `sharers` account to retaliate within 30 minute`s time frame"
{ This section cannot take effect in my case as the situation im outlining involves 2 separate pc`s, and 2 individuals. }

Now my final question is :how does this differ from people in different geographic locations who use MSN to post intel on peoples stacks? Both things are instant.

What are your oppinons?

Saying you are not breaking the rules even when you are does not make it right.

Now my final question is :how does this differ from people in different geographic locations who use msn to direct intel backwards and forwards on peoples stacks and use that to their advantage? both are instant forms of communication, just the same as if i was sitting next to a mate who was also playing at the time.

To be honest, playing this way shouldn`t matter. - As long as theirs no TRANSFERRING between those 2 users, it should be perfectly acceptable. Its the same as somebody in your federation attacking somebody, posting it on the fed board then another user seeing it 5 seconds later, and building to counter.

You cannot tell me that is "BREACHING" the rules, because as far as im concerned, its not a breach of the rules. Look at everybody who fights on a daily basis...members of federations ... people share intel (its as simple as that). Whether it be off the same internet connection - or off 2 different connections on opposite sides of the world - Its the same deal, Same principle and yet for some FUNNY reason, "Its not administrated or addressed".

If anybody can explain this and outline exactly why what I intend to do is wrong, I`d be highly amazed/

Im not a rocket scientist , But i do know how to interpret rules and for the record , that attacking paragraph ***ASSUMES that you are going to use the same computer to login to a 2nd account within 30 minutes and attack**.
