As you all know GC is quite inactive lately. I believe we can change things if we try... thats why I was working with the staff and we came up with this idea: prizes for recruitment; daily prizes and monthly prizes. Prizes for recruitment can be cashed in at any point. To prove they are valid you will be required to use your enslave link for people to sign up on and send a list of those you have recruited to Maraudian (GC/RT) for confirmation.
prizes may be as follows
Artifacts: Regalos See Maraudians Idea below
Planets/clusters: 2k land Balanced, 4.5k land U.Fertile, 5k land U.Eden, 15k land U.Large, 1 land U.Spazial, 6k land cluster level 1, 5k land Tainted/Similare c.2
Special conditions
U.Large would start at 15k on RT and lose 1k land per server and a bit more for slow Example:
RT 15,000 land
Ultra 14,000 land
Fast 13,000 land
Normal 12,000 land
Slow 10,000 land
U.Fertile would start at:
RT 4,500 land
Ultra 4,000 land
Fast 3,500 land
Normal 3,000 land
Slow 2,500 land
The rest would remain the same for all servers.
monthly prizes:
Most active players recruited: 1 month paid and planet rewards.
Most promising new player: 1 month paid and planet rewards.
Paid rewards are not guaranteed as they are given out by players!

I`ve thought alittle and come up with something you guys may or may not like...
How about the community produces a small poster for GC/gamestotal which can then be easily printed (no larger than a4, not too much colour). People could then put them up wherever they like...
I was thinking the `Bonus Code` you can enter on sign up could be unique for each person who wants to distribute afew posters, so for an example i`d put on the posters I print:
"blah blah blah gamestotal is great etc...
... Go to gc.gamestotal.com, signup and quote the bonus code SHEF"
I`d then put up afew posters round my uni (which has thousands of students) and each one that joins up, I guess the staff would be able to see on the admin side of things, that they entered SHEF in the bonus code bit.
They could then get a free planet or something to entice them to sign up, and cus the staff (Maru or whoever) has a list of our signup codes, he would see that theres been x many people signing up, putting the code SHEF, so thats y amount of prizes to Macbeth =)

I remember making a thread about encouraging everyone to at least recruit 1 player, that would double the players... This idea looks good, I think it should go with some decent advertising, threads on forums about the game etc...
repeat it next month and win another ^^

so the enslave link now works for new sign ups ?
dayforest-it was a regular attack. that is what makes no sense. and the losing 20k per turn after the attack is just weird. I was over 400k in debit before i caught it.

the probability of reinforcements are around 30%( i think ) for normal and 100% for enslave attack
it says right in the slave part of the manual
When you enslaved an empire you will have to send in reinforcements whenever another empire tries to enslave that empire
nothing in there about getting them in regular attacks though you probably are right i`m just goin by what the manual says :P

actually, dayforest you can hit slaves reinforcements in a normal attack it simply has a higher chance in an enslave attack...
