What is this ?
Reverse engineer ship allows you to gain the ability to construct or build the particular ship. Requires 9 turns & 5 ships. You can`t reverse engineer starbases, scouts, and ships from Collective, Dark Marauder & Kalzul

shouldn`t guards be on this list too?

Not sure, but no matter what it is, it still costs money to buy and run 24/7

they pay for the servers the game is ran on as well as the building they are housed in, not to mention the internet bandwidth, all of which are very expensive. Just be glad the game is still her at all!

actualy when the patch that introduced the virals and the collective first came out you could capture, but not reverse any guardian ships. the funny thing was not only could you capture every races ships but what ever the amount of ships you captured was multiplied by ten. so i hit number 1 on rt after being hit by a guardian and recievieing some thing like 503 k hun li`s at once yawn newbs

Nope you cant do gaurd, they didnt update that lol. If gaurds were allowed i think viral would be undefeated.

you used to be able to RE guard ships I believe. Probally just another aspect not updated.
